I've never heard that Justin Beiber kid sing it, but I've had that song stuck in my head the last few weeks b/c DH, a 42 year old, brawny ex-cop, insists on repeatedly singing it in a falsetto voice. Sorry, I had to put that out there- maybe it will escape my tortured head by me posting it in the boardosphere.
Well, the only good thing is that I do manage a smile when I hear him screeching that song, b/c in 6 months, we'll be having a baby of our own
I'm 13w1d pregnant and am so happy. The due date is October 1st. Everything is looking well with our little Gleek. I had my NT scan and am very comfortable with the results. I'll try to add a pic from the 11w4d scan to this post. The u/s tech warned us not to be alarmed b/c Gleek still looks like E.T..
I was hoping some of the Orange County, or northern Rockland County ladies could help me out with more OB recs. When I intro'ed on the board, I asked about OBGYNs in the area and you ladies hooked me up with Sally Levine. I understand why she gets rave reviews- she is a kind, smart woman, But, she has two associates, and I strongly disliked one of them. I don't want to risk ending up in the delivery room with this man. I'd prefer to deliver at St. Anthony's or Horton, but would consider Good Sam (at least if I go into labor at work in the Bronx, I'll be a bit closer. Btw, my office informed me I would be taking 4 weeks off, 2 before and 2 after my due date. I'm trying not to think about that now). Any recommendations will be most appreciated.
Re: Baaaby, Baaby, Baby
Hello. I've waited here for you. Everlong<3<br>
Congratulations!!! That is wonderful news
I use Ramapo Valley OBGYN and they deliver out of Good Sam. I had a very good experience with the practice and with the hospital. They were great with me but even better with Kevin since he was in the NICU, so I would highly recommend them.
Feel well
ETA: Ramapo Valley OBGYN has offices in both Monroe and in Stony Point.
YAY! Congratulations.
I am in North Rockland, but use Dr. Solomon and she is in Sufferen/Good Sam. I LOVE, LOVE her- but not sure if that is too far south for you.
Good luck and enjoy this exciting time!

congrats H&H 9 months
I use Dr. Solomon as well! I can't say enough wonderful things about her. She's laid back and super sweet which I love. She shares the same parking lot as Good Sam. Congratulations! H&H 9 months to you!!
Congratulations!!! Too funny, my sister is due 10/4 and will be delivering at St. Anthony's- if you stay there you two may very well be there at the same time!
The only other dr's that deliver at St. Anthony's are Dr. Aro and Dr Joanow with Horizon Medical. Their office is in Goshen. I've heard both good and bad things about them but have no personal experience.
I use Dr. Levine's practice and I think I know which Dr you did not care for. I had my least favorite of the three deliver my daughter but in the end he was much better than I thought he'd be.
In case you didn't quite get my excitement on the phone.....WAAHOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I am so over the moon excited for you two. Loving the pictures
You guys are going to make such amazing parents. I hope you continue to feel good and let me know whenever you want to come over for the maternity clothes.
p.s. I can entirely picture him signing that song and now I have it stuck in my head too.
p.p.s tell you know who at your job to shove it with the 4 weeks or you'll send me down there to kick a little arse.

Thanks for all the well wishes and recommendations, ladies! I may be PMing some of you; I hope you don't mind.
Congratulations!! H&H 9 months (well, 6 left)
I go to Dr Aro at Horizon Women's Health. I can not say enough good things about him. He takes his time with each patient, answers questions, draws pictures (they are horrible) to explain things. The only complaint I have ever heard about him is that you have to wait sometimes when you go see him. I accepted that knowing that it was because he was taking his time with his previous patients and would extend me the same courtesy.
His partner Dr Joanow is the opposite. Very to the point. He is in and out and if you don't have your question on the tip of your tongue, he is already on to the next patient before it leaves your mouth. Some people prefer that style of doctor. That being said though, he was a very nice guy when he discharged me from the hospital. I just didn't want him delivering my baby.
They deliver out of St Anthony's which was such a wonderful place to give birth. I could go on and on (which I already have) so I will stop, but if you have any questions, I would be happy to elaborate.
***Congratulations to my TTCAL buddy Roxyttandme!! It's a GIRL!! Charlotte arrived on 9/29!!!!***
