Re: Mid-week Randoms
Everytime I fill out a self assessment for my job at review time each year, I wonder how I'm still employed.
I only reached about half of my goals, I can't think of anything that I exceed in, and if I do think of something it takes me 5 seconds to talk myself out of it. And yet I can think of 5,000 things I need to improve on, but they only ask for 2 or 3 things.
Ugh. I hate this time of year. Let's just skip this part and fast forward to my raise.
Good luck! Hope the review goes well.
Update:
The vet said Zoey's fine. He checked her out really good and said it was just a change in the pigmentation of the iris which occasionally happens to some cats as they get older. I'm glad we took her in though, because the vet did mention that cats can occasionally develop tumors on their eyes which are serious, but that's not what this was.
She was so, so good while he was checking out her eye. I was very impressed. She was a very good kitty during the eye exam, which was actually quite long.
However, then we agreed that since she was due for shots in a couple of months anyway, we would just do them now. And that's when she turned into the hissing, growling monster made of claws and teeth. She had ran out of patience and it wasn't pretty! They got the shots in her though.
And then she came home and unrolled a roll of toilet paper to demonstrate her dissatisfaction with the whole ordeal...
She showed you guys! Funny cat.
Glad she's okay.
