I work in The Netherlands with a ton of international colleagues. One of the colleagues knows my husband works for a large company. He told me his son (who is half british/half french) really really really wants to have a summer internship at husband's large company and asked if I wouldn't mind passing son's CV along. I said, sure, no problem. When I got the CV, it is in first person and while his background is impressive, I don't think it falls in line with how US resumes look (especially because it says "I" a lot).
Should I suggest to colleague to have his son change his CV to take "I" out? I'm not 100% sure what European CVs look like so I can't compare. Thoughts?
