I've often wondered if it is knotties and nesties, is it bumpies? 'Cause that would be weird. And funny.

That made me laugh, because I think the same thing about my IL's when DH says things about his childhood.
And Nesties got me thinking about what you are called when you move to TB-"Bumpies"?? bahaha.

I wasn't a fan of Beth either. And yes she brought most of it on herself. But, after being on the other side of the fence now, I understand how it feels and it's not a good feeling. So, I'm going to leave it at that about her.

Actually the tickers don't really freak me out. It's more that if you look at the ad's on the Nest, most of them are for the Bump! Their trying to force us to have baby brain just like they tried to force us to the Nest after we got married!

Re: Beth - I shouldn't have been mean to her, but I was and what's done is done. She needs a wake-up call and if she is seriously going to law school in the fall, that wake-up call will come and it won't have anything to do with harpists or "getting scratch for the wedding."

I understand the 'being on the other side of it' but Beth does post randomly about not affording her wedding and then never follows up. No one was supposed to be able to know if it was a joke or not, but I agree with Tiffany... she did bring it on herself. I don't think that you did anything wrong or anything that the rest of us wouldn't do. That Dtay knottie was a quack.

Lesa - I think there's a difference between "being mean to" and "giving a wake up call to" someone. I don't think that anyone was over-the-top mean, but everyone was annoyed by the constant back and worth with not being able to afford her wedding but then asking for rec's for "fluff" things.

Our trip opened my eyes and made me realize I'm not anywhere close to being ready to give that up.
Also, DH and I are honestly still getting adjusted to married life. It's not the smoothest atmosphere to think about bringing kids into. So, in short, it will be years. Sorry to disappoint.
You're more of a Knostie right now; which sounds gross...so maybe not.
