Tiffany was on the phone with Verizon for over an hour demanding answers.   To which after they "received" the fax I sent them I was promptly disconnected.

I'm really seriously considering just filing a suit at the courthouse.  Is that bad?  At least I could get a competent person to get in contact with me if I did.

I would just cancel but they are gonna charge me fees galore (I have to hold up to my end of the bargain, even though they don't have to hold up to theirs, apparently).

Oh what a pain!  We have Verizon Fios, but have never had an issue with them.

    Neither have we...knock on wood.

    Dear Brianna,

I don't think Joanne and Sara were referring to you AW-ing your photos. Everyone likes wedding photos.

I think it was more us talking about stuff that happened on TK. Nobody knows what happened besides us, so to them, they can't join that conversation. I think it was more that.

Well, I do have a great apartment available to rent for parties... just in case anyone in interested!  Stick out tongue

Not referring to your pics at all.  I was happy to see them.  I just meant the drama, like pimping out your apartment for "scratch."

  • Summer - I totally get that. I think about all the time - what if someone finds this? It obvious who I am from my sig picture. I also hate the idea of having to be under an alias, so I am taking my chances. It's like I talked about before - when I found out one of the Knotties was friendly with my assistant's BF - it was un-nerving.

Jaymi - I love the name Jaymi and Jamie and Jaime but my DH was burned really badly by an ex named Jamie, so if any future offspring are in my future I can't use the name.

Lacey - The service itself is fantastic so far....they just won't give me the price they agreed to when I signed up (...and since I signed a 2 year agreement its a pretty big deal).    I'm talking a $60/month difference here.

    Thank goodness for printed documentation.

I'm so glad you have it all in writing.  It's going to be pretty tough for them to fight that.  Have you talked to them since they disconnected you after receiving the fax?  I bet they are singing a different tune.

Haha, well luckily I'm not using it so I can lie about things. But, I actually feel better about being "Summer" instead of "myrealname" because there were times when I would kind of worry and think "What if someone is lurking on here that recognizes me" And even though 98% of the time I wasn't saying anything bad, like last week, you never know what someone is going to latch onto, and possibly take out of context in some circumstances.

  • I'm just going to put this out there..

This quote feature may be the death of me.

  • And did you know that you can't delete your own posts?

This is one reason why I like using user names instead of real names, unless you outwardly use it yourself (or if it is in your SN) then I don't really feel bad.  The name thing is one reason I avoided roll calls.  Using an alias could work if you never went to GTG because "Hi Amber!" "Oh, my real name is Tiffany" is a little awkward.  LOL.  When I first came on the board I said I was a different name but I also had a different SN; I decided I posted way too much personal stuff so I switched it.

I think I read that thing about your assitant's BF wrong....but anyway, I meant I wasn't doing anything shady and needing an alias for that reason :)

ETA: I thought you meant a knottie was "friendly" with your assitants BF. You know, like, friendly. hahaha. Don't mind me...I read that WAY wrong obviously. hahaha.

Luckily everyone here already knows who I am, so I can avoid that awkwardness at GTG's. ;)

And I did regret my last username shortly after I created it. But stupid TK doesn't let you change it. And at the time, I didn't have another email that I could sign up with, so I was kind of screwed.

  • I also hate the quotes.

Brianna - my posts show up with a delete option at the bottom.  I can delete/edit what I say.  Maybe it's throwing you off because your usual settings on TK are mod settings?

  • Dear OMGs,

It took me forever to get caught up on OL Tuesday.  Way to go girls!  Too bad we can't get more new people to start posting so we aren't a "clique".  I'm glad we decided to make the transistion together.

Hahaha!  That's what I was thinking too.

    O hail the mod.

  • 116 posts on our OL! YAY!
  • Well, there's not a delete option for anyone else's posts.  Just mine.  :)
  • imageSummerof09:

Ok, can someone tell me how you can quote someone without quoting the entire string? It's pretty annoying....

You just have to edit the quote in the reply box when you reply.

If you would be the 4th person replying and it quotes the 3 quotes before you as well, just delete {quote user="whoever you don't want"}  and what they said and {quote user="someone else you don't want"} and what they said but make sure you have a {/quote} at the bottom.

I hope this does not totally screw my post up.

Edit: It didn't.  But substitute these thingys: {} for brackets [] in the above.

  • Brianna, I wonder if it has something to do with that we tried to delete it too soon after posting? Maybe we should try to delete a post from earlier this morning. And LOL at deleting children!
