Re: ? for Moms and M's2B
This, definitely. We have contemplated using cloth diapers but haven't looked into a ton of specifics. When we got pregnant before my nosy SIL told us we should start buying a pack of diapers every time we went grocery shopping so we would have a ton by the time the baby got here (and every week texted us to ask if we bought diapers yet like she told us to). Well, that's all well and good, but what if I bought a boatload of Pampers and my child didn't fit well in them or had an allergy issue? Then I've just spent hundreds of dollars on something I can't use.
I'm all for being prepared, but sometimes I think you have to just wing it and see how it goes.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
i should have clarified that i wasnt directing this to you michelle. i totally applaud you for researching all available options and making decisions on whats best for your child.
i meant this as a general...planning is great but you have to be flexible as well. in my experience. for whats its worth
We're CDing. I have a great stash already just from trolling sales and finding coupons/giveaways.
Michelle, check out the CD board on th bump. I'll email you what I have as far as good CD links to learn more about the different types, etc.
Jillian's Drawers (jilliansdrawers.com) and Nicki's Diapers (in Madison) along with a few other sites do trials. With Jillian's you pay a fee, get the dipes for a week or two, send back what you dont like, and keep (and pay for) what you do like. The remaining is refunded to you. Something like that is a good idea if you want to try and see how it works for you.
LOL -- For a minute I thought you were talking about JA!
