I agree. Or for that matter - strangers. It's ridiculous that people ridicule other people who do not choose to breast feed their child. I remember seeing a lot of that on TK/TB Secret website. Why do people try to make that their business?
Well, you're obviously a ball of emotions when you first have a baby...
But really, she didn't bother me too much in the grand scheme of things. Formula fed babies get sick just like breast fed babies do. I really don't think that there are any underlying issues to it. Formula is developed by pediatricians and I found the one that worked best for my child. And she turned out just fine, if you ask me!

This thread is hilarious! All the boob stuff is giving me the heebie-jeebies, and I'm seriously considering trying at the end of the year... I'm like some of you, I just would rather figure some things out as I go along. My mom breastfed all three of her kids, and she matter-of-factly told me one day, Well if you know what you're doing then nobody will know you aren't just holding a sleeping baby! It cracked me up. I'm not so sure I'll be that suave when the time comes, so I'll probably be in a bathroom somewhere. Or shaking a formula bottle, whichever.
I go to my month board - there are a handful of ladies making an effort at posting at least a few times a week. We do random polls to keep things going, because we aren't on enough for a daily thing. So someone will just start a random thread with a few questions, and that's fun. I also go to the D&R board every so often... I don't post very much though. I have a few times, and haven't gotten in trouble, but I feel weird about it.
I don't know that anyone is reading this thread anymore, but..... Wow, I just discovered regional boards. I hop around lurking at Trouble in Paradise, Relationships, Married Life, and Family Matters. Sometimes I try to reply and give advice, but you all are totally right, my posts are lost in the sea of snarky, mean, and cruel comments of those regular posters on there. They scare me a little!
So what discussions usually go on here on the DFW board?
Hi. Well, most of us just started posting here. We all migrated from TK DFW board, since we are all married now. We are pretty random and our randomness usually leads to other randomness. Feel free to jump in and add your own randomness.
