I think we could do confessions like every other week or maybe even random days.
Ditto. I'm not fashionably challenged (sorry, Tiff), haha. But I just don't want to talk about it. But I don't have any recipes and I don't have time to cook, really. So that thread isn't going to be super fun/beneficial to me.
I'm down with Chelea's latest breakdown. The everchanging Favorite Fridays is great and ending the week on a positive topic is nice.
Side note: I adore fashion so feel free to send me posts/questions. I'll volunteer to be our DFW Nest Style Editor! Ha.

A bunch of OMH's who should have left the Knot months ago got mad and finally woke up the graveyard of the DFW Nest board. We are running around un-moderated right now, we're cool like that, but we really need some sticky's. Since everything on the Nest is effed up, we need some help making this happen. Hook a sister up.

Is this what we're going with? I say Leave OL on Tuesdays, and AW on Thursdays just to keep it simple, but that's just me...

I only suggested switching it because I thought the point was to be different from TK, but it really doesn't matter to me either way.
I think that as long as we have a few threads that are different, that's what we were kind of looking for. Same days of the week I don't think matter. It's easier for everyone to remember that way.

ok, few quick questions I'm kinda new at the whole posting on forums, chatting, ect (well not chatting I guess lol!)
Y'all lost me with a few of those abbreviations for a bit but I think I figured it all out, but I guess I was curious why the threads had to be on a specific day each week (please don't take offense, I tend to be a very curious person and just like to understand the way things work so I ask lots of questions
)
also what about maybe once a month or so have a "roll call/monthly check in" just to see what's up with everyone and you could always put a couple "getting to know you" questions in there (I think someone posted one a couple days ago, Tiffany maybe?). I really liked that and I know the bunch of you that just came from the knot know each other pretty well but it might help to lure some of the other lurkers out.

It's more of a common topic for the day to get things moving, I guess you could say. If we didn't have a common daily thread, then there probably wouldn't be as much generic chatting because the posts would be sporadic and wouldn't apply to everyone.
That's not to say that you can't make another post about anything that you'd like on that same day. If you have an AW on B&M Monday you can just create an AW post.
ETA: ..and regarding roll call. Definitely! Usually on a slow day someone will post a poll of random questions to get things moving.
On my month board, they do TMI thursday.
