What's your next big thing?
What do you think, or hope, will be the next big occurrence in your life
that changes it for the better? I'm talking family, career,
investments, travel, whatever.

Kitchen reno in a few weeks!
DH has a lot of landscaping plans for the outside of our house this summer.
TTC #2 probably this summer. If I can wait that long.
TTC#2 in about 3 months!!
and also, our bathroom reno
hmmm good question. I'm really not sure. DH and I are both not ready for babies.
I think trying to get our bills paid off and deciding if we can really expand on our house in the next 5ish years.
House and TTC
Only the man upstairs will determine the order!
Hello. I've waited here for you. Everlong<3<br>
need to really figure out some house plans and start moving on what we can do now.
maybe a new job for one of us.
a kid would be great but not holding my breath
next big thing is working on bathrooms.
well a baby will definitely be the most life changing whenever that happens...
maybe a windshield! Mine has a crack and safelite was supposed to fix it but they are having a problem getting the exact one. We've been on their as.s cause if it is from safelite it will be covered through insurance, if we have to go to the dealer we have to pay for the majority of it.
we're going on a Med. cruise in the beginning of the summer

Looks like there will be a lot of babies on this board in the future!!!
Our next big thing is deciding what to with our living situation. For those of you who dont know, we lived in a gorgeous home in NC. DH was downsized this time last year and at 7 months pregnant, we had to think fast since I was not working and we needed health insurance. DH got a job up here and we are living in an apartment in IL's basement (God help me).
So, the house has been on the marker for over a year and we have only had one! offer and it was a lowball. (About 70,000 less than we were asking which is almost half price..lol) If it does not sell by October, we may think about moving back down. That would be huge for us, as it would be taking LB away from all her family and that would be quite difficult. We want to ttc #2 this winter, but it is hard to do that when you live in a 1 bedroom apt. Even harder when you are paying a mortgage on a 3 br home about 500 miles away. =(
We dont need to do any home renos soon but on my list - in no specific order is:
redo master bath, retile powder bath, finish basement with a slider (which means blasting through the foundation) redo the deck enlarge and restain and possibly painting a guest room
We have a little of it all.....
we agree on moving to FL if one of us can find a decent job to start....
buying a house....
and baby when we have our plans in motion....i'm itching for another and can just be done!
I would say house, but that means the value of our townhouse needs to come up first. I refuse to take a loss on this place. We don't need to move, we'd just like to, so we can stick it out a little longer if need be. Baby #2 is still ? as to when we'll TTC. I would like it to be fall but DH and I are still discussing timing.
The only sure thing coming up is our trip to Turks & Caicos in September. We're going for a friend's wedding (DH is the best man) but are turning it into a week long 5th anniversary trip. We are going to be alone for the first time since our honeymoon. I cannot wait to go!!

JennyNell...enjoy Turks! It is still one of my fave vacations1
For us, it is a house. We rent right now but we just need more space. The baby shop is closed...I would love more but I feel like we were blessed so with our first that I don't want to tempt fate..my age is the biggest part of that as well.
Jack's surgery in last May.
Jersey Shore vacation
baby! August 26th at 9:30 am (Yes, I scheduled already because I do not like surprises at all and want another csection). So my end is in sight.
the vacation book to come out for my dad's job so I can pick a getaway overseas 2012 (Still hoping they offer China, Japan, Korea next year) for just him and I!!! which is total relaxation for 9 days, no Dh no kids!
Well the biggest thing for us is our little girls arrival in August
We dont have too many other big plans set yet. Just focusing on the babys arrival
Its not really big, but one big thing to us that we are looking forward to is hopefully purchasing a new vehicle sometime this year. I'm not sure when but that will be nice
I would love a house...or just a bigger place - 3 br (the kids share a room now)
and... honestly, even before a house, I'd like to take a "big" vacation just DH & I - like, airplane, beach, sand, NO KIDS, drinks, ... but I'm not sure we have $$$ for either.
