B&M Monday
I have several and it's only 6 AM.
That smoke in the air on Friday must have been worse than I thought because I woke up with a sore throat and so congested on Saturday morning that I took myself to Care Now before 11 AM. Sadly, another sinus infection kept me from going to Sarah's wedding AND I discovered late last night that I was given antibiotics that I have to take for a MONTH! So, yeah, that's three so far and it's barely 6 AM.
Re: B&M Monday
My allergies kicked my assss yesterday. I hate when they ruin one of my weekend days. I also got absolutely no school stuff done this weekend. Oh well. Such is life.
On the bright side, Sarah's wedding was beautiful! And I had a blast at the G2G on Friday.
I posted pictures of the wedding on Facebook and I'm pretty sure most of you have already seen them, so I didn't think it was necessary to post them on TN. But, I can...if I need to. DH was such a good sport about it all. Love him. But at one point he did say "I still can't believe we are going to someone's wedding that we have never met...". Haha.

Ugh, another allergy sufferer here. I felt bad all weekend, missed two workouts, nearly fell asleep at dinner last night at Ben's parents. My work called me all weekend trying to get me to come in and I had to keep saying no. No telling what I will find on my desk this morning. Plus the Rangers lost the NY series.
On the bright side, I had a fabulous spa day with my mom and my skin looks great. I enjoyed meeting everyone Friday!

My IL's got in at 4pm on Friday and stayed until 7pm last night. I get along with them fine and actually (gasp!) like them, but just wish we would have gotten a little time to ourselves.
G2G was fun ladies!
For B&M:
Apparently people are allowed to let me down repeatedly, but I'm not allowed to let them down once. As a result, I'm apparently a terrible person.
The people who owned our home prior to us decided that they liked monkey grass. DH and I dug out 8 trash bags full of monkey grass on Saturday. 8! My body still feels like it has been hit by a train.
I dont know what a mambo taxi is but from the sound of it I am sad I missed the G2G and couldnt find out.

I get this a lot - mainly from members of my family. You are not a terrible person and you shouldn't let it get to you. Easier said than done, I know.

So we made the final payment to the venue last week and then found out 3 people have dropped over the weekend. Would 3 of you like to come to our wedding?

Lauren - Yours is one wedding I would absolutely love to see in person - all of your awesome DIY just astounds me. We are leaving town for Easter, but if we weren't I would totally be in!
I found our trip to the IL's has been moved up 2 or 3 weeks
But I guess this gets it over with quicker.
I'm trying to appreciate my time with my grandmother but it will be nice when our house is 'ours' again. It's go-go-go when she's here and it's exhausting. She's been with us a week but will be gone tonight and then be back tomorrow and then will leave again Wednesday and have to come back in 3ish weeks. Thankfully she left before us this morning and I was able to catch that she left the coffee pot on (the old school with only an 'on' button- no automatic shutoff) before DH saw. She did call me after we left the house to see if she had left the coffee pot on.
Saturday was spent picking up damage from that storm and cutting down 2 cedar trees- we still have the back yard to go. Our birds are not having a very good year with their eggs- the storm sent them all to the ground. We also found out our neighbor lady (the first person to welcome us to the neighborhood) died last week but we were able to meet her husband and he's a pretty nice guy.
And I'm not sure DH would be such a good sport 2 weekends in a row about going to someone's wedding we haven't ever met.
I'm yucky, tired today and wish I had got more sleep. I had some random dream that I walked in Wal-Mart and immediately was sent to the bathroom for a drug test. I woke up thinking what in the world.
Lauren - I have plans to this weekend, I would have loved to go. So sweet of you to offer.

3. I woke up at 3am with a UTI and I didn't sleep well after

This made me laugh. I had a dream I went to the doctor and found out I was 7 months pregnant and didn't know it. Everyone freaked out. My grandmother was really mad at me since we have only been married for six months.
Well I do have another dress I need to wear
OMG I forgot a B&M. Saturday night part of my dream was some random strange girl coming up to me telling me I was pregnant and I said "Oh, no I'm not" and she says "No, I'm telling you you are."
Apparently, I am getting too old to be a college kid! After a Saturday night out in my college town, I still feel like death warmed over. I spent Sunday with eyelids made of lead! I feel asleep in the car on the way to my sister's birthday dinner and on the way to grocery shop.
***P.S. I was not driving. Just being a sleepy passenger!

Lacey - I would love to see your book. My mom wants one too of our wedding pictures. I made her one of our e-pics already.
Since I teach at 2 schools I have to organize and run 2 talent shows, one was last week and the 2nd is tomorrow.
To be allowed to audition for the talent show the kids and their parents have to sign a form that says that they understand that to be in the talent show they have to attend a mandatory dress rehearsal the day before the show. That would be today. This morning I had 5 kids come in and say they can't make dress rehearsal, or they have to leave early, so I either have to stick to my rules and kick them out and deal with angry parents, and less profits since their friends and family won't come, or let them do it anyway and accept that it won't go smoothly since they didn't rehearse and set a precedent that the mandatory dress rehearsal really isn't mandatory.
I hate irresponsible parents.
I think I can "share" it. Let me figure it out. I will email you.
Aaagh! I would have loved to! But this Saturday Ben is taking me out for my birthday.
ETA: Oh sorry, I thought I quoted Lauren when she asked if 3 more people wanted to come to the wedding!
