Re: FU too Mother Nature!
I know what you mean. I think I am using the rest of mine up for our trip in October. Always a bummer to be out of them.
Where are you roadtripping to?
Our friend is getting married in Portland (Oregon), which is the initial reason for the trip, and XN's brother lives in Seattle and we've always wanted to visit him there. We happen to know friends or family along both the north route and the south route who we can stay with, so it's going to be pretty epic. We'll do GR to Minneapolis, to mid-Montana, to Seattle...stay there a couple days...then Portland for the wedding. Coming home we'll stay in Salt Lake City, Denver, mid-Iowa and then finally home.
That sounds amazing!
Checking in real quick. Great pictures from Boston. Good luck Laura. I'm sure you will do great.
I think I am going to be in trouble with Allison when she wakes up. She saw the snow this morning and ran downstairs and unpacked the box of snowgear (the box that I just packed up yesterday). She came upstairs with snow pants and boots on. I told her that we would play when we got home from the grocery store. I distracted with her popsicles that we bought. Then just before we had to leave for the gym for my class, she begged to go. I promised her after nap. I'm not sure how much snow is going to be left in another 1/2 hour. I know of feel like crap now for putting her off this morning.
Uh-oh....there's not much out there anymore!
I feel like I have 50 lbs of mommy guilt hanging on my shoulders right now. Ughh...
I hear her right now. She jsut got up. hopefully she forgot about playing in the snow. Otherwise I am going to need something special to make it up to her.
Um... beach party in the tub??
