This. I try to eat breakfast at home a few times a week, and I use a lot of milk in my cereal. My husband has cereal almost every day, but doesn't use a lot of milk in it, so it works out. Sometimes, we'll buy a gallon, and it'll last a week and a half or so. I also drink milk when we have pasta and aren't drinking wine. I need to drink more of it, though. Some days, the only milk I drink is in my latte.

As a woman I hate to admit this, but we don't drink milk. I'll sometimes buy 1/2 gallon with the goal to actually drink it, but I never do. Once a month I'll have cereal.. I may use it with my eggs or mashed potatoes.. otherwise it's not an item in our house.
I feel my bones cracking as I wrote this
I feel the same way. And my dad has osteoporosis so I really should try harder!
I truly do wish I liked it! I'm glad Chris does, so maybe Carter will be used to seeing his daddy drink it. For me, it just doesn't taste right. And for some reason, the thought of where it comes from makes me kind of gag it down.
Now Promised Land has a strawberry one that's pretty good, but it has 250 calories and 9 grams of fat per cup (I just looked it up).

A gallon a week. Sometimes we go through it quickly and occassionaly we have to through it out.
I drink a glass every morning w/my toast. DH eat's cereal probably once or twice a week and then we have occassionally with dinner or on weekend breakfasts.

We bought a quart of milk a couple of weeks ago and it still isn't empty. We usually end up throwing it out instead of finishing it, because it takes us so long to use it up. I have a milk protein allergy so I can't drink it and DH isn't big on it, so we typically only have it around for cooking (my allergy isn't severe so I can eat things with milk relatively okay, but I have to be really careful about the amount I consume). I've tried almond milk a couple of times and and really like it, so I might try and convince DH to switch to that.
We go though about a gallon a week...we both love Milk!! we buy the 1% were both a little lactose intolerant and 1% doesn't seem to bother us much, We LOVE vanilla rice dream but it tends to be pretty pricey out here...as were milk is on sale most shopping weekends for around 1.79/2.79 a gallon.
I feel the same way. My Dad pointed out an interesting point about milk the other day (it was a long drive and we ran out of things to talk about lol) that humans are the only species to drink milk after they aren't a baby.
You have me beat
I love milk. We go through a gallon a week if I don't have cereal regularly, and more than that if I do.
This. I hate milk, and only use it for cooking and the occasional bowl of cereal. Since I buy organic it usually has about a 3 week shelf life after I get it home (sometimes longer). I buy a half gallon at a time, and often throw out half of it because it expires before I can use it all. We go through more milk when SD is with us, as she eats cereal almost every morning.
