Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

    I'm sorry! Like I said in my pm awhile back- feel free to catch me on here, email, facebook or phone... It's hard to believe that my divorce was final almost 1 year ago. The emotional up's and down's you're going through are normal and the most difficult part of the process. Just remember, it gets better and having friends/family that are supportive and allow you to vent are priceless.

    First, welcome back to the board. Second, welcome to the d-club! :) I am sorry to hear that things didn't work out for you! But it sounds like you are a strong woman that is moving on with your life, so kudos! It has been over a year since my divorce, and I can honestly say that I have never been happier. And just as confirmation that what you are feeling is normal: Yes, it sucks. Yes, it is scary. No, you are not a failure or embarassment for having a failed marriage. Yes, it gets better with time. No, that's not a cliche, it is just the truth. Yes, you will be better off. Yes, dating again is daunting, fun, and crappy all at the same time. Yes, you will find happiness.
