I bet you thought this would be about the kitchen 
well, the kitchen is still coming along nicely, but there's something else I've been working on the past few weeks.
ladies, I want to introduce you to Squishy:
I have been dying to tell you all but I wanted to wait until after my first appt (which was Friday). I will be 8 weeks tomorrow - I'm due December 6!! We are so thrilled and excited for our new family member to be here for Christmas 
We had a dating ultrasound on Friday and everything was perfect - Squishy (a la Finding Nemo) is measuring right on track and we could see the little heart beating (149 bpm). It was amazing.
We've told our parents/siblings, but we're not fully out yet, so nothing on FB (I made it so no one can write on my wall anyway) or anything, please!

Overall I feel pretty good so far. The first couple of weeks I felt great - I was actually hungry ALL THE TIME and could eat anything. The past couple of weeks though it's changed. I haven't gotten sick (knock on wood!) but I feel nauseous most of the day. I take it all as a good sign though
Glad to hear that overall you are feeling good. I hope the nausea doesn't last too long for you!
