I trust you girls so much, and I HAVE TO TELL SOMEONE.
I peed on 2 sticks today after I got home from work. They're positive. We're pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am freaking out. Advice anyone?
We're not going to tell anyone for a few more days. I was supposed to have my period a week and a half ago, though. So I'm pretty sure the tests are correct. Woo!

Re: AW: BIG News!!!!
Yay! Congrats!!!!
YAY!!!!! Congrats, that is such exciting news
OMG!!!! I am so happy for you! I almost squealed in the middle of the Giant Eagle Market District cafe I am eating dinner and "working" in!
Congratulations! I also love to live vicariously through all these July 2010 mommies to be because we won't be trying for awhile either.
my read shelf:
yay!!!! Congrat!!!!
get yourself some prenatal vitamins if you havent been taking them yet, other than than not much to do til you go to the dr...I love a bunch of us are expecting!!!
Thank you so much everyone! We weren't exactly trying
But I am very excited and my DH keeps squeezing me and holding my belly, even though obviously you can't see anything yet. Silly boy
Oh! And I'm calling my doctor tomorrow about an appointment and prenatal vitamins.
Haha, yes. I hope I have good news about that soon, too!!!
Congrats! This pregnancy thing is contagious. I say after you get things confirmed by a doc, get pre-natals and pick an OB, then decide when you want to tell people. I know from a friend's experiences that un-telling sucks, so you may want to take that into consideration (not to be a downer, but it is something to think about).
H&H 9 months, and so stoked that you will be going through the pregnancy thing with us!
If you need anything PM me
YAY! That is so exciting and I understand how you feel because I just found out a month ago!
Sounds like you've already gotten some great advice from the other girls.
Do you know when you'll be due? Maybe around New Year's?
AWWW thats so freaking adorable
and congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love you, Daddy...2/24/1953 to 2/13/2011
CONGRATS!!! Wow - so many July 10 babies!! I must say that I'm slightly jealous - though I think we'll be trying sometime next year.
YAY for babies!!
Wickeesgirl, we are definitely holding off on telling people for a bit. My aunt had to un-tell after a miscarriage last summer
I have now taken four tests. All positive. So it seems like pretty good odds at the moment.
I think we might tell our moms by getting Mother's Day cards for Grandmas and watch them freak out. Mwahahaha
DasiyKD, I bet our babies will have close due dates! I used a calculator online that predicted my due date to be December 19th. A Christmas baby! But I'm not banking on that, just waiting to see what the doctor will say.
I wasn't expecting to be expecting this soon. But here I am! And I have to say that I am more excited than I ever knew I would be
It's a crazy good feeling
I know it's an awful thing to have to think about, but my DH and I had to think about when to tell long and hard, b/c of some health conditions I have that may make things complicated throughout the pregnancy. In the end, we told family at 11.5 weeks and a few friends at 12 then just let people find out, and that just is what worked for us. It's so much fun to tell, especially when people are shocked then really excited, haha!
We did the cards thing for telling our parents, but it was for Valentine's day, and we bought them grandparent cards
They all live far away (2+ hours and 5 hours) so it was an easy way to tell and they enjoyed it a lot.
Also I second what a pp said, how are you feeling?
I'm having such a hard time not telling people already. I don't think I can make it past Mother's Day! If this Bump ticker is accurate...I will be 8.5 weeks by then. Even if something happens after we let our families know, I would still want to tell them. Just our parents, siblings and each of our best friends. I know they'll be understanding no matter what and would be mad if something did happen that they didn't know about it.
So far, I am good but exhausted!! I can't believe how zombie-like I feel during the afternoons. I need to start making myself go to bed earlier. Other than that, my stomach feels kind of bloated, but I look like my perfectly normal self and no weight gain yet. My first appointment is May 10th
How about you ladies?? What should I be looking forward to?
Congratulations!
I had to do the untell for my first pregnancy. It sucked big time, after that I waited 3 months before telling for my next pregnancies.
When you do take your prenatal it may make you nauseous in the mornings, if that happens try taking it in the afternoons. That's the only advice I have.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! That is such amazing news!!
Advice: Start taking prenatals ASAP. Invest in a book (I suggest What to Expect When You're Expecting.) And when you get further along, take a photo each week...it's so much fun to look back at all of the weeks to see how you've grown!
Congratulations again

I look forward to reading your updates!
This was our exact reasoning, which is exactly what we did around Valentines Day, then at 11.5 weeks told extended family (don't think I clarified that before), my young siblings (the 14 and 11 year old...they wouldn't "get" what a miscarriage is) and other close friends later.
Look forward to that first heartbeat sound, first sono, second trimester, and that's all I got, because I am only 16 weeks! The ladies who are further along can probably give you a better list!
The kicks, punches, stretches baby hiccups, the whole belly movements and everyone fussing over your belly...every appt you get to hear that little heartbeat and the sonogram....it all is so amazing....
