tornado. hahaha. just kidding.
it was a disaster. super small with too much stuff in it. the conversation started with "let paint and get a smaller vanity" and it quickly turned into gutting it. oops.
this is actually how all the remodels in our house go (and are going to go) so i should get used to it.
I hope you have before and after pics to show us once it's complete! I guess I shouldn't complain about a hole....haha

yeah, we have a full bathroom. this is kind of embarrassing but our house has 3 bathrooms and for just about the whole time we have lived there we only use one. this is hopefully going to help with that problem....if it ever gets done. I'm no Mara - i could use a shot of her motivation.

you would love the 3 layers of wallpaper (one being paper bags) and 2 layers of flooring it had.

Wow! It looks fantastic. We have been such slackers. We were supposed to start working on our basement over the winter. We did not.

Um. I have no idea. It's been a long time actually. Like, well over a year. I know it seems like we're super motivated, but we actually work slowly.
) I think we demolished the fireplace in the summer-ish of 2009? The drywall went up last summer. I should have time-stamped each addition to the website, it would have been cool to see the progress.
Thanks so much for the compliments everyone, it's really nice to hear! We still have more work to do (on the other side of the basement mostly, the office/craft area), and it's hard to find time/motivation to just freaking finish it already!
