OK, now what can we celebrate?
It's clear many of us are going through tough times (and nothing wrong with venting about that), but there's happy things happening too. Kouiii officially got her American citizenship, for one. What else in your life is worth celebrating?
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

Re: OK, now what can we celebrate?
I was going to wait a couple more days to announce, but...
We are officially a Three Bunny Bonded Family! All three Buns have been sharing the same cottage and pen with no fighting, chasing, biting, or anything for a couple of days now. It's taken about 8 months of working with them for us to finally get here, and I couldn't be more thrilled! I am so glad they're all happy and adjusted and love each other. I'll probably AW tomorrow with pictures
ps: I feel like a dork after all my "parents are crazy" griping. I'm totally a "lost her mind" Bunny Mama!
I also wanted to give high fives and fist bumps to everyone who's celebrating something, and tons of hugs and thoughts for those who need them.
Omg, I totally thought you were going to say you were pregnant! After your CW... hahaha! I'm happy the buns are getting along (and that they're quiet).
we raised bunnies when I was a kid...I miss it! cute bunnies, congrats
In addition to DH being on TV for his stand up he was asked to send head shots and a bio to a guy in L.A. He's a stah!
Tomorrow is my last day at the middle school. I work with 4 7th graders and I can't deal anymore. I'd rather teach with 35 16 yr olds...
I'm almost done making our 5th anniversary/10 years together slideshow.
I alleviated my allergies with jalapenos tonight.

I totally thought it was a pregnancy announcement too!
DH and I just bought a couch last weekend too. DH was set on buying a TV after our move to Chico in July and we have been discussing a new couch for a while. We got an add in the mail last week that a new place is opening and offering a free TV with some purchases! So we got a huge sectional, 2 end tables, coffee table, and TV (which is 4 inches bigger than our now so double yay!)
And we only have 6 weeks of school left. I love my kids but I need a break as much as they do
ha, our couch only seats 3 comfortably....embarassing
Haha! I was going to wait to announce because I didn't want to jinx it. It's been a couple of days, and I was going to wait a week before making up my mind that it was official. But, I have a really good feeling about it, and am too excited to NOT say anything.
So no, totally not PG! That would be hilarious though, after all my ranting and raving lol!
And, I'm glad they're happy and quiet too.
Thank you so much! Aren't they so fun?! I swear, I'm going to sound crazy, but you just don't know how much personality rabbits can have until you take care of them. They are so funny and goofy. I love them

Good idea! I have some good ones:
My niece crawled for the first time yesterday. My sister sent me the video. Are you ladies getting sick of my niece posts? Since we may not be able to have kids, at least I can bask in the glory of being an aunt, right?
I will take my last certification test on May 6th and I can not wait for it to be over and get my weekends back! DH and I can now focus on home buying again.
Oh and it will be 4 yrs on Saturday DH will be cigarette free!!
Did I tell you ladies DH got a raise last month? It is only 8 yrs past due
. It will really help us in the DP fund for sure.
Couches are freaking expensive too! Thank goodness we had a nice gift from the in-laws. We got a small sectional (8x8) in gray microfiber. Can't wait!

I have a new screen name? (PS-this is SDGirl. I'll delete this later). I just felt it was time for a new one.
I am happy to turn the calendar over to May. Our summer is kicking off now and I'm so thrilled. Our trip to CA and my bff's wedding are right around the corner. T's surprise 35th birthday planning is all set and the flowers in our yard are slowly but surely peeking out.
Congrats to your husband!!
1. 2 more months and I am no longer Lions Club President. I will be Zone Chair though.
2. Emme sat on the potty last night for the first time with the seat down and cover off!! YEAH!!
Learning to start all over again... Blog
I can think of a million things but lately I just am excited to be DS and DD's Mom. I'm loving the elementary school experience with them...they are learning so much and I am enjoying watching them grow and create friendships. I cannot imagine having two cooler kids to get to parent...I'm going to enjoy this time before they turn into tweens. :oP
oh, i dream of a new couch passine... enjoy it for me! we have two, both hand-me-downs or second hand, and neither rocks my world. i am sure yours will fabulous. and kudos on made in america.
i too thought mrs.moosie was knocked up! good news on the bunnies, though. our original two cats finally chilled the fvck out about the kittens a month or so ago. what an improvement!
last night i was talking to d and he said "what do we have to worry about, really? we are totally in love with each other. we can figure all the rest of it out." sigh... he's dreamy, even if he sucks at cleaning (for now). my niece is coming to visit this summer and as of today, it's t-minus 28 days until we leave for our trip to ireland.
Silly for some, but we have 8 chickens at our house and within the past month or so (around St. Patrick's Day) we got our first eggs!
I love having my hens, they are so sweet : )
I can celebrate that I only have 3 days left of my training!
FYI...I'm training as a peer counselor for Women's Crisis Center in Watsonville. WCS is a domestic violence and sexual assault center. It has been an intense past couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to the training being over and finally being able to do some of the volunteer work.
