Wow!! That's really cool.
I missed your initial post about the app. I'm completely iphone illiterate. How does one even go about designing an app? Can someone link the initial post?

Congratulations :-) Have you guys seen a big bump in downloads?
Oh wow! Thanks everyone! :-) (I was staying off the internet this morning until I had a chance to watch the wedding...I wanted the full reveal for Kate's dress)
For this new version of the app (addition of NY, LA and SF), DH hired an app PR firm to do some work for us. We were nervous because it meant spending more money, but it looks like they're doing a pretty good job!
And for whoever asked. DH came up with the idea for this app a little over a year ago and we talked it to death to each other thinking through what features it should have and how it could function. He did most of the initial research for the content of the app, then he hired developers to do the technical stuff and more writers to do more research for more content. I designed the logo and look of the app and art directed the user interface for the app and the website. It's been a lot of work, with not a lot of pay off (yet!), but it's cool to see our little idea grow like this!
