Re: IHO the royal wedding: PIP favorite wedding photos
DD'ed, just like I said I would
My Food Blog
and a couple in color
I like posting my own pics way too much. Thanks Cheeky for bringing it up first so I don't look like such an AW! I absolutely love our pics, best money spent for the wedding day itself.
tracy, i love that you had a blue cake! the color in this photo is off but we had periwinkle frosted cupcakes. one of the bakers we met was all "people will not eat blue food." um, our cupcakes were a huge hit and no one balked at the color!
Cheeky - I did love our cake, although I wanted a pale blue not quite so teal, but hey it still looked great and people loved it. No blue food? People eat my blue food all the time.
We had the blue alcohol
People ate my very food dyed cake at Molly's party, along with the blue popcorn
Other blue touches (I loved your sash and the last pic you posted was beautiful):
Cake box, to look like our cake
ETA: I loved that your cupcakes were square and the icing added to look!
dude had no clue! people eat blue food all the time! i want to make blue velvet cake for our anniversary this year.
Tracy - Your rainbow cake is AMAZING. I'm so impressed. I'm contemplating DD's first birthday (early) and really want to do this, but I'm not sure I can pull it off.
A few of my favorites:
Your pics look like they belong on a postcard! The cake was not that difficult and I have never made more than a 3 layer cake before. I can pass along pointers if you decide to do it! And I am already planning Maggie's 3rd in August (Tangled/Rapunzel) so it is never too early.
mssaint, I think you and I were site twins!

T&C, I had forgotten that we were brooch twins! I want to say that litasail was as well... or maybe she had just introduced me to the website I bought it from...
Ahh, memories.

Chocolate Blog!
Oooh, oh yeah! The saddest thing is that I lost mine! I really loved it, too

I am sooo late to the game but I had to play!! Our first anniversary is right around the corner (5/21) but it still feels like ages ago = )
I love seeing everyone's pictures!!
Aw, thanks! DD's birthday isn't until August (I told you I was early), but I will definitely ask questions when it gets closer. I'm encouraged to hear that you didn't have a lot of prior experience with large cakes.
