Ten Things Tuesday
1. Last night when I was letting the dog out a spider descended out of thin air right in front of my face and I started screaming and ran back inside.
2. Emma came running to find me all concerned but DH couldn't stop laughing.
3. Emma has been sleeping in her own bed since my surgery and I'm super proud of her.
4. Prior to that, she had been sleeping in our bed with us.
5. I have been eating an unhealthy amount of Starburst Jelly Beans lately.
6. The Starburst and Lifesaver brands are the only kind of jellybeans I actually like.
7. Our anatomy scan is in 10 days and I'm beyond excited.
8. DH actually is counting down too, which I find super cute.
9. Most of me feels like it's a boy, but part of me still thinks I'm going to be surprised with another girl.
10. I would honestly be thrilled either way, as long as the baby is healthy.

1. My whole house is sick.
2. We were perfectly healthy until Saturday night/Sunday morning.
3. I'm irritated because I know who got us sick and this is the 3rd time we have gotten sick from that person.
4. I am freaking out because the re-print of Gabe's invites are arriving this week and I hope they are right.
5. I'm buying my sewing machine this week!
6. I made a super cute card at the women's show on Sunday (thanks Jesss10!) and I should give it as a mother's day card but I want it for myself
7. When Gabe wakes up in the middle of the night for his paci or lovie I sometimes pretend to still be sleeping so DH will get up instead of me
8. #7 makes me feel like a bad mom
9. I've been making dinner every night so that I can give Gabe table foods
10. I went to bed at 9pm last night and will probably go to bed at that time tonight.

This happened to me at work once. I about fell out of my chair and I the worst part was, I was on the phone when it happened... It was horribly embarrassing... The guy on the other end of the line thought it was pretty funny when I finally had calmed down enough to explain what was going on....

6. I had tacos for lunch and dinner yesterday, shhh don't tell DH
7. I am going to attempt the impossible... get DH to also eat mexican for cindo de mayo.... mexican twice in a week!?
8. I feel awful because this new harness pinched Murray's skin and gave him a little bruise.... poor murs!
9. Tuesday is stupid... no good tv is ever on.

LOL... that's funny. Apparently DH thought it was so funny because he said he saw the spider when he came home from work earlier but didn't say anything about it. I told him I blamed him for it and told him that it wasn't good for me "in my condition". lol He just kept laughing.
1. We've been staying with the Inlaws while we wait to move into our house....its been going better than I expected, but I'll be glad to have my own space again.
2. Lucas woke up with a fever yesterday and was so cuddly and snuggly. Today he is back to his sassy boy self I miss my mellow baby but I'm glad that he is better.
3. I am going stir crazy.
4. I should really get out, maybe go shopping but seeing the down payment come out of our savings account hurt really bad and I havent spent money in almost a week.
5. Picking paint colors for the house is both exciting and exhausting.
6. For lunch I had a slice of very berry pie and a flav-o-ice popsicle. I should really eat something better but I'm satisfied for now.
7. The Ob just called and broke down our bill for when the baby will come. I confess I zoned out listening to it because I dont understand insurance and nor do I even pretend to try.
8. I have no idea what I'm getting my mom for mothers day. She is so hard to shop for because she doesnt need anything and if she wants anything she buys it herself.
9. We are having spaghetti for dinner and I'm excited
10. Dh just called and is on his way home from Ky a little bit ahead of schedule!
Mommy's little helper
1. I am super hungry right now, but I wasn't planning on eating lunch for about an hour.
2. DH is officially done with school.
3. Last night was one of the first times in a while that DH didn't have any homework to do after work, and I think he was a little bored just watching tv with me.
4. Over the weekend we decided how we were going to paint the baby's room and it is super cute.
5. Now we just have to finish the basement ceiling and hardwood floors in the kitchen so that we can start painting it/getting it ready.
6. I finally told the rest of my work friends about being pg, and its really nice to not have to watch what I say anymore.
7. I'm still kind of dreading it getting out to the rest of the people at work, though. I'm so not ready for all the unsolicited advice I'm sure to receive.
8. A woman at work smells like coconut (like sunscreen) and keeps walking past my desk. She's making me really anxious for summer to get here!
9. My boss told me again yesterday that he thinks I should go to grad school.
10. I really like/respect my boss, so I'm a little nervous that he'll be disappointed when I ask to go down to part-time after the baby comes.
1. Landon only woke up 2 times last night. At 3am and 5am.
2. I couldn't fall back asleep at 3am, it was annoying.
3. The renters are moving out of our condo, and we are thinking we are going to have to short sale it.
4. #4 makes me feel like a huge fail, even though I know we did everything we could and it is for the best.
5. My mom is coming Sunday and my stomach is already in knots about the visit.
6. We have a robins nest with 4 pretty blue eggs in it, it makes me happy.
7. My allergies are kicking my butt.
8. I am getting kind of excited about Landon's birthday.
9. I put my Ugg boots away to protest the cold weather. Maybe that is what spring was waiting for.
10. My Step SIL is pregnant. I have known for a while, but they haven't told me yet. I keep waiting for them to say something. I can't decide if I should send a gift or card or ignore it since they haven't told me.
1. I am buying new jeans today...in a size I actually fit into that isn't maternity. I didn't want to buy anything new until I was back down to my normal weight but I have to get out of stretchy pants.
2. I need to buy a dress for my sisters wedding next weekend, I've been putting it off for the same reason I've been putting off buying jeans.
3. I need my hair cut and color on Thursday so I feel pretty again. Right now I feel not so pretty with my extra weight and stretch marks all over my tummy.
4. I'm hoping Jason gets me something for Mother's Day even though he told me I'm not his mother. I explained Dayne isn't old enough to get me anything yet. We'll see what happens.
5. I want to ask for a raise and I was all "gung ho" about it earlier but now that the deadline is here where I said I'd ask my boss, I'm terrified.
6. I have to fill my tank up with gas and I'm dreading it, knowing it's going to drain my fun money for the week.
7. Part of the reason I NEED a raise is because I need to be able to afford to get to and from work. This gas hike is killing me.
8. I called the hospital yesterday to set up a payment plan for the hospital bill - I have never seen that many figures on a medical bill in my life. They wanted to know if I was going to be able to pay the remainder in the next 30 days. Who the F do you think I am people?!
9. I hope Jason gets a new job that includes a company car - we have yet to get him his own car yet and I'm hoping if we drag our feet long enough we won't have to.
10. I feel like - no I KNOW we live paycheck to paycheck lately and it scares me. It seems like we'll never catch back up to where we were when Jason lost his job.
I totally agree. Have you tried the jolly rancher one's, though. I like those better than the lifesaver brand.

4. I have recently discovered Tim Horton's coffee (I had always gotten cappuccinos before) and it is delicious.
5. Coffee in general is my new best friend.
6. A couple times over the past ~2 weeks I have worn only my wedding band and not my engagement ring, and several people have commented. I didn't realize it was such a big deal!
7. My best friend's Dad is going to install the counters in our basement as a return favor, and I am SO excited/relieved to have it done!
8. I can't describe how excited I get at the thought of having a garage sale and relieving ourselves of all the sh*t we have around our house.
9. It had better frickn warm up already so that I can have the above-mentioned garage sale!
10. I'm going to go get lunch now.
1. H got a new job and started yesterday it's AWESOME and he's so happy about it.

1. We had our lawn thatched/seeded yesterday and now I just keep wishing it would actually rain.
2. My dog has decided her tag is her new favorite toy - she works for hours to get it into her mouth and then walks around the house like she is the coolest thing around.
3. I have not been feeling very motivated lately. I am choosing to blame it on the weather.
4. I tried all weekend to convince DH to get some new bedroom furniture, and I failed.
5. I had tacos on the meal plan for Thursday and didn't even realize it was Cinco de Mayo
6. I love mexican food - although it is a close tie with italian food. In general, I love food.
7. Our weekend is jam packed and I'm really disappointed because DH will be out of town all week next week, and we will barely get any time together this weekend.

4. After doing our budget last night i can't stop thinking about how to make more money.
5. I am having a really hard time coming up with 10 things today. I know there were more and i can't think of them.
6. After frying my keyboard a couple weeks ago by spilling coffee on it they got me this fancy wireless keyboard and mouse. The keyboard cuts out at least once a day in the middle of typing and pretty soon i'm going to pick it up and throw it across the room.
7. I am sick of hearing particular people repeat the same thing over and over again. saying it over and over doesn't make me feel bad for you, it makes me feel less bad for you.
8. I could never work or volunteer at an animal shelter. i would end up like an animal hoarder. i know it is selfish but i will have to stick with donating money instead of time.
9. I want to have another wedding. Same guy just another party.
10. I have nothing for lunch. I had nothing yesterday either and ended up not eating all day and then devouring a whole foot long sub from subway for dinner.
1. The scale went up a pound and it pissed me off, even though I know full well that the trend is downward, and my body likes to shed 5lbs at a time and then sit at a weight for a good 3-4 weeks. Jerk.
2. I had leftover spaghetti for lunch (2/3 cup pasta, 1/3 cup sauce), with my grandmother's sauce. Honestly I'm done with all other sauces and I fully intend to only eat this sauce from now until I die. Or eat out.
3. I held a meeting this morning at 9:30 and haven't done anything since.
4. I'm too lazy to make signs for DH's half marathon. Someone make them for me?
5. My house is clean-ish and if I can keep it that way until May Madness is over, I'll be happy.
6. My new vanity is fabulous. I should post a picture.
7. I started a new blog, it's for daily food tracking and discussions about my daily diet, exercise, etc. It's mostly because I get a lot of questions. I haven't shared the link yet, however.
8. I'm full and yet desperately want chocolate.
9. I have dyslexia.
10. DH hit me with a bomb a few weeks ago: He wants to seriously start talking about kids (i.e. let's make the go/no go decision soon). eep.

2. I spent $70 (not really because I returned other stuff but still) on a Jumperoo. Cam is doing everything possible to swivel his head to watch Family Feud instead.
3. Gibson has been sleeping in his own bed for the last 2 weeks. I'm super proud of him.
4. I have to run to Target. I am so glad I have a Target less than 3 miles away.
5. I'm going to see if H wants me to get lunch while I'm out.
6. I need to plan our first family vacation. I'm nervous to do this.
7. We are going to the inlaw's for dinner. I don't know which I'm more excited for- a home cooked meal that I don't have to make or that Gibson gets to go ape $h!t crazy in their backyard.
8. I think I look pretty darn good for having a 3 month old. Mostly because I haven't done much to do so. Yep. I said it.
9. I make up these 10 things by looking around the room. That's why they are all so similar- house, kid, H, dog....

1. I got to see the babies yesterday and they are perfect, measuring exactly the same and right on track.
2. I just ate mini peanut butter cups, even though I should be eating the healthy lunch I brought.
3. This weather stinks.
4. I have a really long weekend ahead of me for work and I'm not looking forward to it at all.
5. Our five year anniversary is this Friday, but we both have to work so we're celebrating on Sunday. And by celebrating, we're just going out for dinner. That's all we have time for.
6. We're skipping going to see MIL on Mother's Day because of our delayed anniversary. I'm happy because DH's nutter sister is back in town and living with them. I'd rather not see her.
7. I just paid an $18 late fee at the library. I've done this several times before and apparently I will never learn my lesson.
8. I'm tired of telling people I'm pregnant with twins because I get the exact same questions over and over....even though I initially address them when I'm telling them about the babies.
9. I wish people would stop asking me if the twins are identical. I don't understand the fascination with identical twins.
10. I'm slightly crabby today just because of the weather.

6. My sister gave me a bunch of maternity clothes and I can't get rid of the overwhelming smell of fabric softener. She uses waaaaaay too much.
7. I had Tim Hortons this morning and really want to get some more.
8. While I really really hate orange barrels I can't wait for some of these crazy potholes to be fixed.
9. I really like the new stylist I tried out yesterday and will probably stick with her (thank goodness)

Me too! MIL introduced it to me a few weeks ago. I can only do one glass at a time because it's so sweet but it's good!
1. When I got my new puppy in December I was told he was Lab/Pitt Mixed and now that he is 8 months, he is looking and acting like Lab/Jack Russel Terrier Mix, he is sooo hyper, yappy, and a lil ankle bitter!! Not sure how I feel about this but he is too dang cute
2. Im hungry but when I look at food I want nothing to do with it!
3. My H is out of town since this past Friday and I think the dogs just noticed he was gone yesterday and the yellow lab is very very sad now.
4. I have a TON of yard work to do, but no motivation to do it and this weather isn't helping me.
5. I keep having dreams my baby will be a boy!! And if you look at my H side of the family they are ALL boys so it probably will be a Boy! and I am 100% ok with that!
6. My Best Friend since the 3rd Grade is due 4 days before me, I would have never thought in a million years this would ever happen! Although she always told me we would be pregnant together!
7. My Husband is on the "One Lap of America" and he is having a lot of fun.
8. The day before my H left for his trip he sliced his hand opened and I had to take him to get stiches.
9. He told me he may not go on his trip because of his hand...and all I was thinking is I need a break please go please go!! And he did but now I miss him!

3. I am trying to figure out what will be a better mood lifter. Sitting on the couch pigging out on Milano cookies or doing damage to the bank account at Target.
4. I only have 1 bra that even kinda fits, and it is in the washer. So, while the target run is needed, it can't happen for a bit. Unless I wanted to be pornographic... hm.
5. 2 weeks till my ltrasound, I am so excited to sneak a peak at my little guy again.
6. I have my 2nd baby shower on Saturday.
7. I am getting my haircut on Thursday and I am nervous. I have difficult hair, and it is not pretty right now. Hairdressers always pressure me to go really really short, but I need my ponytail.
8. I am upset H invited is brother to crash at our house next week. My parents were planning to visit us that week and I know they will cancel when they find out BIL is here (we only have 1 spare bedroom).
9. Fajitas for dinner tonight. They were suppose to be for dinner on the 5th, but I can't wait.
10. I feel like this list makes me look like a real debbie downer today. Sorry.
