1. Have you ever thought about doing an HGTV show? I looked into it once, thinking that maybe we could get a free kitchen out of it. ) But most of the shows only film locally, and none of them are around here. However DH and I both agree that if we ever see any of the Yard Crashers/House Crashers/Bath Crashers people at Lowe's or whatever, that we are absolutely going to bring them home, haha. )

2. What is your favorite meal? Pesto pasta.

3. Are you allergic to anything? Lots of stuff. My biggest ones are cats, ragweed, grass, and a bunch of other outdoor stuff. I'm on the allergy shots for it, and it seems to be helping a lot actually.

1. what was the most annoying part of the home buying process for you? The most annoying part is the moving, lol... Seriously though, the whole process for us went extremely smooth. I guess I would say the waiting... there is a lot of waiting...
2. i assume you are from kalamazoo, what high school did you go to? I went to Gull Lake High School, it's a bit north east of Kalamazoo, but I also went to the Kalamazoo Area Math and Science Center for half of the day for my entire high school education. I took all of my math, science and computing classes there.
3. what would be your dream car? I'm a pretty big fan of the new Jeep Grand Cherokees, but I would settle for a Patriot, or The ford Edge or Escape.

1. What is your favorite kind of candy? Do you have it often? I love truffles, and I don't get them often. DH messed up really bad last week and brought me home a huge box though so I have them right now!

1. What is the last name you & DH vetoed for the baby? Annalise, I was looking up the story that the 'Exorcism of Emily Rose' was based on and found that was the name of the original girl. It creeped me out enough to stop bugging dh about it (he had previously vetoed it) Since then we have not come up with anything new. Daily dh refers to the baby as one of his ladies, or Kiersten. LOL

2. Which subject did you do better in - math or science? I loved Math (particuluarly calc and trig), & I really liked biology but not enough to offset how much I disliked chemistry which is sort of odd since I like math so much.

3. Do you have any special talents? I can fold my tongue twice, it's sort of hard to show people, oh and I can bend my right toe without moving the others. Stick out tongue

1. What is your favorite material item you own? Why? My wedding ring and KA Mixer. My ring because its special to me, and my mixer because it was the best gift DH gave me.

1. How did you meet your husband? We met in high school. In fact, our parents houses are across the main road from each other.

2. How long did you date before he proposed? We dated on and off for 9 years or so. We had a lengthy break in there though.

We are going to in the Fall...I may or may not look on realtor.com everyday though...I send him a few houses a week to get him all geared up hahahaa. We will rent for sure-we so would not be able to sell for what we bought it for but we are ok with that for now

What is the biggest event coming up at work if anything? We have some really cool people coming to stay here but event wise...prolly Mother's day brunch-it's insane and there is a waiting list of like 200

1. If you had to name pocket pooks after a nestie, which name would you pick? Good one, I think either Molly or Kendra (I actually suggested Mary after my sister and dh and that same sister said 'no way' LOL) I actually really like Beth but that could go back to my Little House craze growing up, Manly and Beth were like my first soap opera couple.

2. What's your biggest pregnancy complaint? Either not really having an appetite (taste for anything) or the injections, though the injections are obviously exclusive to me. I really, really hate those effers.

1. Do you have baby names picked out? Well we have a boy name, and a list of girl names. DH's favorite girl name is not my favorite, but I am not sure what I like better. Sigh.

2. What is your favorite food? Meh. I was just thinking yesterday how I will like to be not pregnant and enjoy eating again. Everything gives me gas, heartburn, indigestion, etc. I think I will go with watermelon for now. Followed by frozen custard.

3. How did your DD react when you told her that you were moving to MI? She was very excited because we built it up, but then she realized that it meant that she wouldn't see her Grammy every week/couple weeks, and that made her sad. But then we just kept on building it up and talking about her cousins that lived here and how often Grammy could visit. (She was 6 at the time.)

1. What's the coolest place you've traveled to? Ack - this is a hard one to answer. I love traveling and seeing new places - each one has something "cool" about it. I did love our trip to London though - it was my first time out of the country (I don't count Canada).

2. Do you guys want more kids? YES! At least one more. We'll probably be done at two but I'd love three. We'll see what happens when we cross that bridge.

3. What's your favorite snack? Mmm....depends on what I'm craving. I love cereal, almonds, apples, baby carrots with ranch, granola bars....

1. If, god forbid, you and Carl died suddenly and your family was going thru your belongings... would they find anything really embarrassing? (You know... porn, 3 kilos of coke, a tub of lube to last a lifetime....) Not really. I mean, we have normal stuff under our bed....my b-pic book would probably be the most embarrassing thing.
2. How many hours a day do you spend on your 3 blogs? Not hours. I'd say I average 25 minutes to do a post.

1. How did you become fluent in Spanish? I started taking Spanish in high school and decided to minor in it in college. Once I started taking the college courses, I really fell in love with it and decided to make it a double major. I studied abroad my senior year of college in Spain for the fall semester. I was fluent at that point, but still struggled with speaking and feeling confident. I teach Spanish and since I started teaching 5 years ago, it really strengthened my speaking abilities.

2. How did you end up on the detroit nesties board? I mean, did you just move here from somewhere else? (I think you said this in yur intro but I pregnancy brain so indulge me...) I was on the national bump boards and got kind of tired of the charades on them. I wanted to get to know people that I could actually meet IRL. I like that there are topics on here aside from babies.

3. Do you want any more kids? I would like 2 more, but DH is thinking one. I think we're going to start TTC the end of this year. We put our house up for sale and we really need to move to a bigger house before we can have another kid right now though.
