I don't remember what went on, but I don't remember you ever being insensitive! They are concerned with him measuring ahead?  At Weston's 20 week ultrasound, he was measuring 2 weeks ahead and my stomach was measuring 2-3 weeks ahead the whole time.  At my 34 week ultrasound he was measuring 4 weeks ahead.  She was never concerned.  I was induced 3 weeks early only due to developing pre-e.  Do they think the original due date is wrong or something?

Thank you, I don't think I ever was, but apparently there was a difference of opinion.

My doctor didn't seem too concerned, we just want to make sure things are ok and give me every chance at a vaginal birth.  I don't have gestational diabetes, so it isn't related to that. And any chance to see lil' man is fine with me!

I can't imagine the due date is wrong, because my ovulation date was the date of our best friend's wedding and I know for a fact it probably happened that night after all the booze consumed. lol.

Oh, I thought they were going to change the due date because they thought they could be off on the EDD.  Yeah, I had a couple early u/s and he measured right at that point so I knew my EDD was correct.  A couple nurses did say at my delivery, that if I would've went full term, I would have maybe ended up with a c-section since he was almost 8 lbs 3 weeks early.  He is still my big man lol! Almost 24 lbs at 10 months:) Yay for big boys!

ETA:  At 34 weeks, his head was measuring at 39 weeks.  That scared the crap out of me lol!

I know I'm not a lurker at all...but I'll admit there are times where I don't answer a post because everything I would have said was already posted. And sometimes I'll check back to see others opinions, etc....so I definitely help run up the read count.

This....I'm more of a lurker than a contributor, but when I have something to say and have the time to do so I do.

yup he is!  The deployment was for 60 days! He is home, safe and sound!  We are excited to take the next step in our lives and become parents and homeowners.  We just bought a "build to order" house and it shall be ready sometime in Sept!  We are excited that this year is going to be a great and busy year for us!

  • i realize that it was probably stupid of me to ask you if he was home since you are 13 weeks pregnant. it made sense at the time haha.

im glad to hear things are well though and it sounds like this is going to be an exciting year for you.

    I'll bite. I'm strictly a lurker now.

I check the board pretty much everyday, just like when I was an avid poster. I don't post anymore after I got my BFP because of a few PMs I got telling me I was insensitive.

So I'd rather just read all the drama than be part of it.

This makes me really sad.... I'm sorry someone had the balls to say that you were insensitive... I really can't recall a time that you ever were.  I seriously was wondering about you not too long ago, realizing that we haven't heard from you in a while.  I'm glad to hear that your pregnancy is going well.
