Re: B&M
I had Astelin (similar to what you are talking about) a few years ago and that has scarred me from spraying anything up my nose. Plus after I would do it I would be sneezing non stop. I also noticed that the taste would go away if you would spray it a certain way; maybe stick it further up your nose or tilt it more or something- I don't remember how I did it. Just mess with it for a bit and hopefully you'll find a way to not have that taste.
They don't really know, they have been doing tests but nothing is showing up as wrong so they released him yesterday.

Stephie, I'm so sorry - that's a terrible thing to deal with, and a terrible way to start a Monday
Regarding nose spray - a doctor once told me that if it goes down your nose, you're holding it too far inside your nose and need to back it out a little.
I have no real B&Ms today - I'm pretty chipper! But I do have some ant bites on my ankles and they're driving me insane with itching. It was SO worth it for blackberry cobbler though
I did. Yay Monday.

Uh oh, you'd better talk with your buddy and get some sticks to pee on.
Stephie - I am sorry to hear that. It is such a hard thing to deal with.
Re: May 21st - I saw this van driving around our town with decals about the end of the world and May 21st, etc. and just figured the person was a zealot. Then I started seeing other cars and billboards on 30 - creepy. I don't buy into it either, but it is still unnerving.
I hope everything is okay Lauren, that is weird to announce that on FB rather than call.
Once DH's Mom called him to let him know his Dad was having back surgery...in 30 minutes. It had been planned for weeks they just didn't think it was important for anyone to know.
Make sure you either get a pink dye test or a digital one. Blue dye tests are notorious for false negatives.
Stephie, so sorry about Ben's cat.
My B&M was that I could barely sleep last night.
On a sidenote. if you are friends with Marissa on FB, go checkout her page. :O)

I have never gotten up the nerve to use nose spray or a netti pot but I consider it more and more every day. I live on Claritin, blow my nose constantly, and am so tired I go to bed around 9 every night. I feel like allergies have taken over my life.
Thanks for the thoughts everyone. It was so so hard to do it--we had prayed he would go on his own over the weekend but he didn't and we just couldn't watch him linger on and on. He wasn't eating and barely drinking and could no longer walk really. So we're really sad today.

I'm not friends with her on FB. Is it safe to assume she is pregnant? I know she wanted to have a lot of kids.
Okay, I'm friends with her but I don't see anything that jumps out at me. What am I missing?
The neti pots and the saline rinses have done nothing for me. The doctor thinks that my sinuses may be so impacted that it won't work for me. That makes me want to say "Well, then, take them out."
Yep, Asterpro. How can you use less than recommended? Less than 2 sprays each or something? I tilt my head forward. Doesn't help. And the taste stays with me all day. Even to the next day.
You ladies seriously just made me LOL so that my coworkers now think I'm crazy again.
According to the dr last Monday I'm not pregnant (did a test just to make sure they could give me meds). I'm on a new antibotic that my OB gave me to help with all the issues I was having last week. I took it Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night and didn't get sick but last night was horrible. It may have been the pizza from dinner too but DH and step daughter didn't get sick. Who knows!
Julie,
Read her riddle post.

I did a similar test to get an ok for an xray, and it turned out it was too soon to take the test but we found out 2 weeks later we were pregnant, so you never know..

Well, I see all the congratulations to her being pregnant (I mean, I guess that's what that means) but I have no idea what any of that means. My brain is officially fried thanks to other people's teenagers.
Riddle's on a Monday morning?
Believe, I didn't get it on my own either but I was up at 4AM last night bc I couldn't sleep and was browing FB and saw it, and then I googled the riddle,

HA HA Julie, that's pretty funny!
With you on this. I am baking my cousin a gender reveal cake but I don't think the big reveal is for me. (No offense to anyone else who does want to do this - I do think it is super cute and love that I get to know before anyone else!)
Although I did see a bib that said "Grandpa's Co-Pilot" and my FIL is testing for his pilots license next month, so I may not be able to help myself on that one.
Who the hell knows though...I also said I wouldn't be a temp/chart/ovulation predictor and have bought things to make this all happen when the time comes. I completely reserve the right to eat my words with my gender reveal cake.
Yep, I'm quoting myself. The statement above probably makes me boring. But, eh, I'm kind of okay with that.
I just said it. I didn't even of doing a cutesy announcement... I just did it. For #2 (whenever that is)... I will try to be a little more clever.

Leslie, you're totally doing a gender reveal cake. I just know it. You can't be that good at decorating cakes and not do one for your own baby-gender-announcement!
Anna, please share! I'm sure it'll be a while for us, but I'm constantly collecting ideas for all things baby-related - it helps cool my fever
