Summer vacation
So who has one planned? Where? How long? Any plans to do anything specific while on vaca?
We are pretty sure we are going to OBX again this year, I love that place, so relaxing. We'll be there for a week.
Re: Summer vacation
We just went to the Virgin Islands in March and have been saving to go to Europe in the fall or next spring, so we have nothing planned for the summer and I doubt we'll go anywhere. We'll probably each take a week long stay-cation at some point to work on some house projects.

Next month we are taking Tristan to Disney again for Star Wars Weekend for his bday. He turns 7 tomorrow!! We are going for 5 days.
Dh and I will be going to Vegas again soon as well as going back home to Chicago and Indiana.
Most of our trips are last minute planned.

Happy Bday Tristan! When are you going to Disney? We're going in June too and it just happens to be a SW weekend.
Summer Plans....
Disney in June for 4 days and we're going to my friend's dad's house on some island off of South Carolina for an extra long weekend in July.
How the heck is already 7? I feel like just yesterday he was 4.
We leave in June for a week and half vacation. Our first stop is to Williamsburg, VA for 3 days. Then we are heading to SC to visit family for 5 days. On our way home we are stopping in Raleigh, NC to visit some friends for two days. Yesterday I was mapping our stops from Williamsburg to Greenville, SC. We figured no more than 2/3 hours without stopping. This will be A's longest road trip. A few years we drove down to SC and decide to "Brown sign it" stopping at historical sites on the way down.
In August we have plans to go away for our anniversary. Not sure where we are staying yet, but we are thinking B&B in PA for two days. ( I really need to figure this out!)

No long vacations for us this year - still trying to build up my leave bank after the wedding/honeymoond and winter vacation.
I know we're doing a long weekend in Myrtle Beach to visit my dad, probably around 4th of July. We're also doing a long weekend in NYC for our anniversary in August. There will probably be a few weekend trips to OC as well.

We are going to SC w/ DH's family in July for a week - that's our "big" vacation.
I will probably take a week off in August and go to OC w/ DD to visit my friend for a few days.

When we went last year I was unsure how much fun I would have since Tristan and dh are the fans and not so much myself. But we actually all had a really great time. You should go, you don't need kids!!!!

No solid plans this summer.....will be saving all my leave and our $ for when this baby comes in the fall. It is possible we could do a long weekend to the beach though.
Next summer is the big family trip to OBX which I can't wait for.
We are going to Duck w/ another family for a week. No real plans while we are there other than taking DH & the kids down to Cape Hatteras- see the lighthouse, drive past my old beach house and possibly take the ferry to Ocracoke for the day.
I will probably spend a week in OC w/ my parents & the kids, and DH will come for part of the week.
I expect we will spend a long weekend/short week in NY at some point as well. We are waiting to finalize our plans- ideally I would like to do a midweek rental in the Hamptons- booking something last minute to save $$$ so we don't have to cram in at my ILs house.
June - to our timeshare in disney.... my parents are going to stay the week. We aren't sure how long we are going down for yet.
August - Myrtle Beach vacation.... full 7 days. Relax on the beach and read.
August - West Virgina - family reunion.... 2 days
I'm sure we'll head to my IL's beach house in OC but we don't have set dates for that yet.

Just went to Disney for 10 days in April
I think i am going to Rehobeth Beach in August for a few days with MIL and SIL with Ethan
Nothing big planned again, maybe a Disney Cruise next November but once we get all of the stuff we want done in our house, I think we are going to sell and look for a bigger one.
Not s.mange, but we're going to be at Disney that weekend also for Star Wars Weekend - we just booked it this week. I didn't think we'd get to go at all this year, so I'm pretty excited!
Only other trip we have planned isn't until November, when we're doing our first cruise out of Baltimore. Looking forward to it!
Oh, almost forgot. We're going up to Long Island for a weekend, but that'sfor a wedding, not really a vacation.
We're going to Florida for 6 days over 4th of July weekend-I'm so excited! Naples for a few days to relax at the beach and see the Everglades, then we're driving down to the Keys for the rest of the time. We're staying in Islamorada and hopefully going deep sea fishing!
Otherwise, nothing much. Probably a long weekend in Bethany with my family and I might go to Dewey with BFF later in the summer.
11 nights in Italy, 2 nights in Switzerland and 3 nights in Paris! Can't wait.
And likely joining ThePastorsWife in Cape May for the year family beach trip...at least for part of it since DH won't have a ton of vacay time left after Europe.
Counting down the days!!! Can't wait!
