So, I was wondering, where is:
the top place you want to go?
your vacation destination so far?
the one place you really don't think you would ever want to go?
Re: Traveling
So far, I haven't been many places. London, Paris, St. Lucia as far as out of country.
Where do I want to go? EVERYWHERE! We plan on making several more trips to Europe. Australia, Asia, you name it, we plan on traveling there. DH and I love to travel.
your vacation destination so far? The only place I've been out of the country is St Lucia
the one place you really don't think you would ever want to go? Hmm...I can't think of one off the top of my head. ETA: I did think of one. I am really not interested in going most places in the Middle East. Egypt is the only one I would be interested in.

the top place you want to go? We are planning a 2 week trip to Italy for next year. Not sure if we will include another destination on the trip because we want to have time to fully explore as much as we can there.
the one place you really don't think you would ever want to go? I want to go everywhere! I would never turn down a trip. There are a few places that are near the bottom of my list, though. I don't have really interest at all in England or many of the Asian countries.
Want to go: Europe but Matt has NO desire BOOOO!, Australia, Tahiti and Greece those are my top. Matt is okay with all but Europe.
Have been: Guatemala (for work) and Mexico
Not want to go: Asia, I am not much of a hustle and bustle type person and most areas there seem so crowded and busy that I dont think I would enjoy it.
the top place you want to go? I think Australia and possible South Africa would be cool. DH and I have been to Europe, but not together so we would really like to take a couple of weeks to explore before we start trying for kids.
your vacation destination so far? I've been to London, Paris, Trinidad and Tobago and several stops on cruises including St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Puerto Rico, Belize, Cayman Islands, Jamaica and Mexico
the one place you really don't think you would ever want to go? I don't have much interest in the middle east.
Bio Good Times
Summer - Oh, I have no doubt! I will definitely go one day, but I just never really got into the history so its not too high on my list.
Ladies - How about places in the US? What's your favs?
I went to school in Portland, Oregon for a semester and it was beautiful there! I think its a really cool city.

the top place you want to go: Tahiti or Italiy
your vacation destination so far: Cancun, Mexico
the one place you really don't think you would ever want to go: The Middle East
I love NYC, WDW, Nevada (we used to live there when I was a kid), California (but I would never want to live there), and Chicago.
Tiffany,
In all honesty, I've spent about a total of about two weeks in Italy, and I still haven't seen all that I want to see. I would definitely make it two only in Italy, unless you're talking about four days in Paris (which isn't even close to enough). You should go to Milan (to see "The Last Supper" and you have to make an appointment for it) and to see their opera house (it's supposed to be amazing!). You need to go to Venice--it's really very romantic. Florence and the surrounding areas and Assisi are terrific and so much fun. I haven't enjoyed either trip to Pisa though. Lastly, Rome. There's a lot of history there but there's so much that's just amazing about it all. I think I have been a total of seven days but I really would like to spend a month there. That's my dream, really. And I have never been to Naples/Pompeii/Capri but I want too. Just be careful if you guys do the driving. The drivers in Rome and Naples are nuts.
The top place you want to go? Bora Bora and the runner up would be Italy.
Your vacation destination so far? Out of the country - Cancun, Maui, Dominican Republic. In country - CO, FL, NM, LA, NV & MO My favorite state thus far is definitely Colorado, it is just so beautiful!
The one place you really don't think you would ever want to go? Um this one is hard because my mindset is always "where do I want to go" not the opposite. So maybe India and the middle east.
the top place you want to go?
I am now a little obsessed about going to the South Pacific and Australia. However, I know that's going to be quite awhile because someone (cough, Bill) will need to build up a lot of vacation time. I have a feeling it will be a once in a lifetime kind of thing and I want to do it right. Also, right before Bill and I got engaged, we had the option of flying to Moscow on American's direct flight from DFW for about $500 a person. I didn't say anything to Bill about it because we weren't engaged and I didn't have that kind of money just lying around and I didn't think I should just ask him "Can you take me to Moscow?". I'm still kicking myself for being so dumb.
your vacation destination so far?
While I love WDW, I would still have to say France and Italy. I have seen so much beauty over there in the art work, architecture, etc. that I would honestly consider living there if we had that option.
the one place you really don't think you would ever want to go?
the Middle East, including Egypt at this point.
Julie - Wow, I'm totally emailing you when we get ready to plan our itinerary.
We want to hit a some touristy high points, but would really like to spend more time exploring the countryside away from the hustle and bustle.
I've come to really hate tourist attractions.
For the US, San Francisco is the bestest. Biking the bay bridge into Sausalito is one of the high points in my life... it was amazing. We also stayed at an incredible inn in Sausalito and explored Napa and Sonoma as well. I can't wait to go back.
I love Vegas! Also enjoyed San Diego, Los Angles, Orlando, New York (although I have not been since I left PA), Atlantic City. We used to take summer vacations to North Carolina when we were little, those were always so much fun.
Bio Good Times
My top destination in the US is definitely New York. I want to go there so darn bad. And I totally want to be a major tourist, flame me! LOL
Buy Rick Steve's "Italy" book. He has some great information and such.
It is one reason why I haven't enjoyed Pisa or the Vatican Museum. They are so crowded and last summer, I was so miserable at the Vatican that I just wanted to leave. However, I love the Forum and Colosseum and St. Peter's Basilica. BTW, I have never been to Milan but the painting and the opera house are the two reasons that I want to go.
the top place you want to go? Ugh, so many places. Europe, New York, the Bahamas, Myrtle Beach, Virginia Beach, Tahiti, USVI, back to Maui, back to Sedona.....
the one place you really don't think you would ever want to go? I really have zero desire to ever go on a cruise. I'd rather just go to one place and stay there.
With All the Trimmings
Just do it!
the top place you want to go?
Greece, Spain, Japan, Argentina, Brazil, Australia, safari in Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Ireland, Iceland. In the US, Northern California, Oregon, Las Vegas, Boston. Really anywhere!
your vacation destination so far?
I've been all over Europe (and loved all of it) - Switzerland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, France and England. I've also been to Costa Rica. In the US, I've been to the Grand Canyon, Colorado, Atlanta, San Diego, Seattle, Philadelphia, Chicago, NYC and Hawaii (and probably more I can't remember). But many of the places in the US were on church choir trips in high school or for conventions, so I haven't really been able to see much during them. And I love being a typical tourist. I feel like I'm on vacation for a reason, to see things I've never seen before. If I want to sit around and do nothing, I can do that at home.
the one place you really don't think you would ever want to go?
Hmm, not sure there's any place I wouldn't go if given the opportunity. Places like Fiji and Tahiti, while gorgeous, are not high on our list since they seem to be mostly sitting on the beach type of places. We're definitely "go go go" type of travelers.
the top place you want to go?
I would love to go to Europe again ( Germany, Greece, Italy).
your vacation destination so far?
Outside of the US: I have been to Germany, Greece, Cyprus, Canada, Mexico, Bahamas
Within the US Highlights: Hawaii 4 times ( can't get enough of this place), Las Vegas, all throughout California ( love the Napa Valley area), DC, Miami, FL( I go there once every couple of years), Scottsdale AZ ( love the resorts there).
the one place you really don't think you would ever want to go? I don't really have any interest in travelling to Far East Asia.

I feel so sheltered. Haha.
the top place you want to go? I would really like to go to Europe. For like a month.
your vacation destination so far? Outside the U.S. - I've only been to Mexico. In the U.S.: Boston, NOLA, Orlando
Where would I like to go in the U.S.? Everywhere. NYC, California, Seattle, Chicago, Miami, etc.!
the top place you want to go?
I REALLY want to go on a Scandanavian cruise. There are several that hit awesome Scandanavian cities that I would love to see, but probably wouldn't be able to hit on a European trip, like Copenhagen, Stockholm, St. Petersburg and several others.
your vacation destination so far?
In the US: San Diego. I go every year to visit my BFF and I love it. That's where I'd live if we were rich.
International: probably Edinborough Scotland.
the one place you really don't think you would ever want to go?
Houston. I will never vacation to Houston
Haha, I love that! Me either.
I would also like to add Chicago to my "do not want to go" list. For various reasons, it is not a place that I would find joy in visiting.
Houston. I will never vacation to Houston
The words "Houston" and "vacation" really shouldn't be used in the same sentence. I only go there if I have to. Same with New Orleans and Baton Rouge (BTW, I'm usually only in NO if I have to go to BR).
This, 100%.
Although I'm sure those places are beautiful, I kind of feel like once you've seen one tropical island, you've seen them all. I know others would argue with me on that. I like doing things when I travel, so does DH. I think on our HM to St. Lucia, we maybe sat on the beach for a total of 3 hours. And both were bored after about 1.5. I like traveling to other countries to learn about the history, culture, and seeing how people in other parts of the world live. That's hard to do when you're on an Island resort and don't leave the resort property.
the top place you want to go? Everywhere except for the places listed in question 3.
your vacation destination so far? There isn't much competition because it's Oklahoma, Arkansas or New York, so New York it is! I've never been out of the country.
the one place you really don't think you would ever want to go?
India, Mexico (I'm sure there are places that I would like to go but as a whole, Mexico doesn't interest me much- I could take it or leave it), China. My Criminal Justice teacher said the best way to not find yourself in jail is to just stay in Texas- you know the laws. He had a few stories to go along with it- he was hysterical.
US places: Because we have not traveled much, I'll go with NY. We do plan on crossing every state off though through the years.
I'm pretty sure you guys know how I feel about that place. I need a vacation after going to that place. And to think, we seriously thought about moving there.
Did you know that Houston is the #1 city in AMERICA for dates? AMERICA. Dallas was somewhere in the top 10. The #1 city? It's stupid. The DJ's that told of this 'research' tried listing places to go and had about 3 before they started repeating them.
DH lived in Houston, The Woodlands, for 2 years for work before we started dating. He hated it.
We are going to Houston next week for Ironman. yay. Super excited.
Top place: London
Vacations so far: Disney World, NYC, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Canada (Nova Scotia), Virginia
One place I probably will not ever go: Australia. Besides the fact that my dad dislikes Australia because he says they cheated in cricket, I watched a discovery special on dangerous animals and they were almost all located there so I decided I didn't want to die by some weird animal. Plus, travel there would be extremely long.
