In Labor & Delivery for monitoring :-(
Hi ladies. I've been admitted to the hospital for overnight monitoring. I called the dr this morning just because I've been experiencing a decrease in fetal movement lately. The nurse said to head to labor & delivery immediately for a bio physical profile. He normally is very, very active but since Sunday evening I have barely felt anything from him.
I've been hooked up to monitors and had an ultrasound performed. The dr saw something on the placenta that he wants to keep me in for. Send your t's & p's my way please.

Thank you to everyone. The doctor said it is fluid which *could* mean the beginning a of placental abruption which is never good. I will have more news in about a half hour when my labs come back to see if any of the baby's blood has passed into mine which indicates the above. Fingers crossed for negative KB lab (don't ask me what that stands for, it's the name of that particular blood test).
In other news I am bored to death. Thank goodness DH brought me my laptop and they have wifi here, plus I can't remember the last time I was able to watch trashy reality shows on tv since our tv's at home are permanently tuned into Nick Jr. Maybe I'll order up some more room service food.
Oh no! I hope it's just a minor scare and you are out of there ASAP!!
How many weeks are you now?

Oh no. Those are scary words. Fingers and toes crossed for a negative KB whatever test.

The Kleihauer-Betke test (KB) is a blood test used to measure the amount of fetal hemoglobin transferred from a fetus to a mothers bloodstream.
.... I hope they find nothing and all is okay with you and Jax
