I was looking forward to our summer vacation until yesterday. We were supose to go to SeaWorld with my MIL, niece, DH, DD, DS and myself. My son is 5 months old and daughter is 3 yrs. My MIL and I had talked about passing my DS back and forth so we could ride rides with my DD. I just found out the MIL can't go.
Our options are:
- don't go
- leave son behind and take a short trip
- take just the 4 of us and split up at the park
What would you do?
Re: Vacation with MIL
How old is your niece?
I just went to SeaWorld in Orlando with my 3 yo and we had a great day. There were lots of shows and activities and even though I am a huge "ride person" I didn't bother this time and still had a blast. If you realy wanted a ride, I think one of you could easily get on line and take a ride while the other had the kids watching a show.
And double-check your DD's height. My DD wasn't tall enough for most of the kiddie rides.
But still, we had a great time.
yeah, wondering why this wasn't your first option? I get that another adult there would have been nice, but you're still talking 2 adults for 3 kids (assuming niece is young??)
