Well I'm here. Where the heck is everyone else?
My B&M's:
I have to go to the dentist this morning and get a tooth pulled, and a bridge put on. Ugh.
We are going to Houston on Thursday for Ironman Texas. I enjoyed Ironman Florida, and Ironman Arizona because they were in cool places and we got a little vacation out of it. Houston? Gross. Not excited in the least.

Too much staying out way too late all weekend = tired on Monday.
I hurt the feelings of one of my friends this weekend by telling her the truth about something related to the behavior of her children. I was just tired of putting up with the behavior and pretending that nothing was wrong when clearly something is. I mostly feel like a b!tch, but I am also relieved.
Haha - we did have fun on Friday.
So, I got a massage yesterday, which yes I know should not count as a B&M, but I have much tension and so many knots that massages are rarely fun. They would probably be more fun if I went on a regular basis. I could barely sleep because I was so sore and I have a couple of bruises this morning.
It doesn't make me want another one any time soon.
I'm here just really tired!
We had some people start work on the last little things we wanted to get done to the house. They showed up at 8 on Saturday and 7 on Sunday. So much for sleeping in. We didn't know they were going to show up until the next day until 9pm Friday night.
I spent all day Saturday running around trying to get the rest of the stuff needed to finish the house and taking step-daugher to a bday party and my parents house across town. Then we had a wedding at 5 but had no bathroom, bedroom or shower to get ready in because they were installing the new vanity in our bathroom so they had the water off. I'm just glad I took a quick shower before bed Friday. They got all the new baseboards in the whole house and the new vanity, sink, mirror, and light fixture in our bedroom. When they were taking the baseboards off in the hall bathroom they found black mold all arond the vanity so that had to be ripped out and we have to replace that now too.
Other than house repairs and lack of sleep we had a good weekend. The wedding we went to was beautiful!
I've only had one massage, ever. It hurt, and wasn't pleasant for me so I don't plan on getting one again.
She'll get over it, Leslie. She probably is just upset because she knows it's true, and it just stung a little bit. Most of the time, people are completely aware of the way their children act, they just don't expect other people to bring it to their attention. So, I say good for you.
So who all went? Julie, Tiffany, Lacey and Sarah? Where was everyone else?!

Thanks. I am glad it is out in the open now. DH wouldn't go to their house or out to dinner with them and she was saying he was antisocial/rude. We just couldn't be in a restaurant and have a child (school age, not a toddler) throw a screaming fit and ignore it anymore.
Ummmm, I said that I couldn't go! FINE! I will take the shirt and wear it myself.
And cry.
And eat cake.

I don't have any B&M's today. Well, I am sure I could think of some, but I am trying to go with a positive attitude this week since the past few have been such disasters.
P.S. One of these days, I will be brave enough to go a GTG.

I couldn't go either, too far of a drive unless I would have been in the area and I'm normally not. Glad the 4 of you had fun!!
Leslie, I agree with Summer....Good for you! I feel like I am going to be the meanest mom because I just don't put up with that crap very well. My 7 year old little brother called me "Mean Sissy" for the last 4 years!

I'm sleepy and gotta go back to the oral surgeon to get discharged. So pointless because I was supposed to go and get the packing removed but I already pulled the packing out of the holes myself but they still need me to come in so they can "discharge" me (which I take to mean CHARGE me for more crap).

Hey I said I couldn't go, also. I wasn't a no-show.
I don't really have much to complain about. I have a week off before Summer classes start and had a great weekend with the H. I have a cold but it's just a head cold - nothing that will keep me from running.
All and all it's a pretty good Monday

I will save you all by keeping this short. We got home at 3 this morning. I was going to say the visit went shockingly well after my "Hello" was met with a sigh from MIL because she was actually pleasant after ignoring us for the first part of the day Saturday. But it kind of went down hill Sunday. With BIL's GF (who she is just in love with- GF is already calling her mom and MIL considers her her daughter) being older is more mature and has more respect for MIL as a mom (read: more than I do) because she has teenagers and tells BIL to call his mom and keep her in the loop (what is she crazy? I will never be her ally after what she has done. He's my husband, not my kid). So Sunday was filled with those comments that are annoying and rude but not outwardly so so you couldn't exactly say anything along with being her manipulative self. Plus 6 margaritas make her a little annoying. And she hugged me when we left and told me to take care of her baby. She hasn't hugged me in 2 years, heck she hasn't touched me. She hasn't really talked to me in 2 years. I just wonder what will be up next because this is all very fishy to me and while DH thinks this is all a little weird, I'm sure he is in hog heaven thinking she has changed, we are all back to normal, wahoo!! Why does she have to play these games?
We also learned that they put our nephew on adderall and they keep complaining that he's not involved in anything but that's because everyone is too lazy to take him to whatever lessons and such.
Jaymi - I always say firm, because I know I have knots and a ton of tension. Maybe if I go more regularly the knots will finally be gone and I might enjoy the massage. I do feel a lot looser (not so tight with tension), I just feel really sore. I think if I go more often, it will start to get better. I'm just a chicken.
Brianna - maybe if you bring cake to the next G2G Tiffany will forgive you.
