So who all went?  Julie, Tiffany, Lacey and Sarah?  Where was everyone else?!

It was just me, Tiffany, Lacey, and Lauren!

Yep, and they are my new favorites.   Everyone else I hold a personal grudge against.  Just kidding... kind of.  ;-)

I was across the street at Houston's celebrating our 9 months being married; I really wanted to sneak across the street and say hello, but DH claimed I would never come back (in time for our reservations. :)

  • imageTiffany618:

Calm yourselves! If you never said you could make it, then you are not on my list.  :)

Especially Bobbileigh, I facebook spy'd that she ditched us for the Knottie G2G.  Surprise

    What?!?  Wow.  Not cool.

I'm disappointed in her. She's been on TK a lot more lately anyway.

Brianna doesn't have to bring the cupcakes, Bobbileigh does.   Yep, if no cupcakes are brought she will not be admitted to a future Nestie G2G.  :)

Awe - you should have said hello.  He could have sent you a text when he was being seated.  ;)

I will save you all by keeping this short.  We got home at 3 this morning.  I was going to say the visit went shockingly well after my "Hello" was met with a sigh from MIL because she was actually pleasant after ignoring us for the first part of the day Saturday.  But it kind of went down hill Sunday.  With BIL's GF (who she is just in love with- GF is already calling her mom and MIL considers her her daughter) being older is more mature and has more respect for MIL as a mom (read: more than I do) because she has teenagers and tells BIL to call his mom and keep her in the loop (what is she crazy?  I will never be her ally after what she has done.  He's my husband, not my kid).  So Sunday was filled with those comments that are annoying and rude but not outwardly so so you couldn't exactly say anything along with being her manipulative self.  Plus 6 margaritas make her a little annoying.  And she hugged me when we left and told me to take care of her baby.  She hasn't hugged me in 2 years, heck she hasn't touched me. She hasn't really talked to me in 2 years. I just wonder what will be up next because this is all very fishy to me and while DH thinks this is all a little weird, I'm sure he is in hog heaven thinking she has changed, we are all back to normal, wahoo!!  Why does she have to play these games?

We also learned that they put our nephew on adderall and they keep complaining that he's not involved in anything but that's because everyone is too lazy to take him to whatever lessons and such.

I'm sorry your weekend with your MIL was as it was :(

  • I'm pretty sure I have my first hangover. Yes - at the age of 23, my FIRST hangover.

I'm not a drinker, but I tried a lot of different alcohols last night. I didn't sleep much at all last night and am feeling more and more like ass today.

I already drank over a gallon of water. What else should I do to beat this?

  • My B&M: I was a little ticked at Chris for playing with his ring during the movie last night and dropping it.  Thankfully there was a guy who took pity on us (on our hands and knees looking for it) after the movie and had a bright light to help us find it.

DH played with his ring a LOT when we first got married. It annoyed me, too. He doesn't do it as much anymore because he's gotten used to it. Thank goodness.

  • I am so tired of being tired.  I don't mean I got up early and had a rough, busy day tired.  I mean I got 8 hours of sleep and went to church and came home exhausted at 1:00 p.m. and was falling asleep at 8:00 p.m. kind of tired.  I don't know what else to do--Ben has been so patient with me but it's not really fair to him.  I can't do ANYTHING, if you catch my drift.  I can barely stay up until 9:00.
  • I forgot part of mine: MIL got us a bag with a monogram on it with our last name and she only gave it to us now because she wasn't sure which name we were going with (DH was strongly considering changing to my maiden 2 years ago).  Seriously almost a year and a half after we are married?  The gift is not my problem, the name is my problem.  The only thing she has been told since we got married is that I changed my name to his.  "I didn't know..." BS.

I'm hoping he'll get to that point soon, theater floors are pretty gross!

I like grape seed extract for a hangover. And if my stomach can handle it, greasy food.

This has been me too.  But also, why wait until 10:30 PM to have fun when we both have to be up at 5 AM?  That's where I'm having my issue.

  • I'll try the grape seed extract since I have it on hand. Thank you!

  • Lauren- I'm glad you were able to find it!

Stephie- Is it maybe because you are getting too much sleep?  I know sometimes I am way more tired and have less energy if I sleep for too long.

  • Stephie - I am the same way.  I've been physically exhausted for weeks and I feel like I never have enough time for anything.   Even when I sleep 8 hours I am still exhausted.

I've changed my vitamins and my diet a little to try and help, but so far it hasn't helped much.

  • Sarah, I don't think it's possible for me to get too much sleep!  I don't know what the answer is.  I do plan to have my thyroid levels checked when I go to the GYN next month.  I've always been sort of a low-energy type of person but this is ridiculous!

Oh well, glad to know I'm not alone!

  • So sorry to hear about everyone being so tired.  I am feeling that way right now, too.  I feel very worn down.  Also, this weekend I found it very hard to concentrate.  I think it was a combo of being so tired, but still having to so much left to accomplish in two weekend days that I couldn't keep my mind clear.

  • This may make no sense to anyone but I don't care.

The office told all the sponsors to have all check requests in today. I went to go put my last 4 requests in and they aren't taking them because "They were due at 10." No where on the e-mail did it say when today they were due, just the fact that they are due today.

I don't want to do this but I'm going to have to go over their heads and to the principal. This is just going to make for a very strained relationship with the front office. Trust me when I say that as a teacher and a sponsor you do NOT want a bad relationship with the front office!

I'm so glad you understand this, because not every one really does.  The day before the prom in 2006, my bookkeeper was screaming at me about something.  The next day at prom, she basically said that everything looked awful because she was still mad at me.  We are just now getting back to a comfortable time with each other.  She never prevented me from getting stuff  that I needed but it would sometimes be awkward.

  • *Sneaking in...*

Hi guys.  No B&Ms here - I have the day off today, and DH are hanging around the house and his painter friend is here painting/glazing my dining chairs, so it's a wonderful day.

I'm really sorry I was a no-show on Friday... after someone making me cry twice at work, I finally got to leave at 7.30, when I normally leave at 5.  It was not a good day, and I wouldn't have been able to make it to the restaurant until about 8, and I would not have been good company.  Sorry to be lame though!!  Next time, next time.... :)

  • Stephie - I would have them do the full blood workup. I have a tendency to be a little anemic, and I can tell when it's bad because I get the same way. Normally, I have a dip of energy in the afternoon and then I'm fine again in the evening. But when my anemia is worse, I will hit a wall in the afternoon and be unable to do anything the rest of the day.

Renee - In all of my education classes they told us to always make nice with the people in the office, so I can see what you mean!

  • Well, I just had a large bite of my lunch fall off my fork, roll down my shirt, and land in my lap. And of course it was a Lean Cuisine with red sauce. Now I look like a complete mess, but I have to laugh because that's just something I would do. But at least I just got my hair cut, so if nothing else, at least my hair looks good!

Oh yeah, that reminds me--I still hate my hair.  It is still soooo dark.  I can't wait to be blonde again.

How much longer until the dark fades and you can go blonde again?

  • *hangs head in shame*

Although I do have to defend myself I did not go to the knottie one.

I had a really rough time at work and knew it was going to be a rough weekend and I was in a very negative nancy and debbie downer mood and there was no way I could be social.

I later found out Wendi was having the same kind of day so Wendi, Matt and I went out for dinner.  I did not want to be around a bunch of people or a loud enviroment.

Sorry ladies I promise I will make it up and show my loyalty.  I dont even own a cupcake tin but I will see what I can do.
