You really sucked this morning! Fuel spill? I didn't see any fuel just a bunch of cops and firefighters standing around laughing. It looked to me like it was all cleaned up you just had to keep the freeway closed down to get the truck on a wrecker. Doesn't take a whole 4 lanes to do that!

I'm sorry that I came from a family that had organized dinners where things actually went with the other parts of the meal. Italian sausage on a bun and corn do not go together. At least not in my world.

I have now heard three different things from three different people about what's going on next year. You can only blame the legislators so far with this one. Tell me what I'm doing next year so that I can spend the summer re-organizing things if there's a change.

There are twelve days of school left and we are just stumbling to cross the finish line. I'm picturing the "Fun Run" from "The Office" where some of the guys carb loaded and barfed.

I am also excited about the book club. I really need to finish the book, though.
LOL! Once a family member invited us over for lasagna and we had corn on the cob with it. I asked her about it and she said they always ate corn on the cob with lasagna. Maybe I am related to Bill?
LOL. Maybe. I even came home with salad yesterday. He got home first (a rarity--he was texting me asking where I was) so he started dinner. I need to hurry home after school from now on if that's what is going to happen.
PS: this actually doesn't surprise me in any way. One day, when we were there, MIL asked FIL if we could have a green salad and I was so excited that he said yes, because I was thinking "Thank God! Something normal!" The "green" salad consisted of: tomatoes, cucumbers, apples, pears, cashews, raisins, peanuts, and a few other things that I couldn't even fathom being in a "green" salad. No lettuce or spinach. I didn't eat that. I also didn't eat the frozen lunch meat I was offered on the trip before.

Yeah, this is the same branch of the family that eats ketchup on Mexican rice. So they are likely related. You and I are probably cousins.
ETA : They do cook their pork thoroughly though... :P
My FIL will not eat Mexican food but, if he did, he would probably put ketchup on his Mexican rice. Yep, we need to see where you and Bill are related. As for cooking things all the way through, I don't know about that. They'll eat leftovers ten days out so food safety isn't necessarily a priority.
I am super exvited for the book club but I am not confident in my ability to not just skim through the remaining 30% of the book.
I got to read maybe 10 pages this weekend
I have 220 pages to finish by tomorrow. Yikes. Not gonna happen. I'm going to have to find the book somewhere else.
Dear birdy-
You cannot fly through the window. You've been going at it for 30 minutes that I know of and you only get a shock to the head and lose a few feathers. You are giving me a headache.
The kids I grew up with put it on their eggs.
I put ketchup on my eggs! mmmm yum.
I got mine at Half Price for less than $12.
Bobbi - The end is interesting in that it ties everything up, but probably not the end of the world if you don't read it in depth.
Eggs are a whole other group of nastiness to me. I can't stand them. The two together sound gross to me too.
Fail.
I used to be this way too, then one day a few months ago an over medium egg sounded so good, so I made one and now love them.
Scrambled eggs though - Gross.
Just so y'all know, I'm eating scrambled eggs as we speak.
