Twinkle Twinkle little Tuesday
Good morning amigas! It's raining here. What else is new?
Last night I went home, changed, ate, and then we went and bought two new couches. They were on sale so we financed both, then paid for one right there. Yee haw. They come on Thursday. I cannot WAIT. Our little sales guy was so nice, and his wife died two weeks ago. Wah.
SIL came over to pick up some stuff to use at her housewarming party on Memorial Day weekend.
I watched 90210, then MFD and I watched Raising Hope. I put away some laundry and was asleep by 10:30.
This morning I got up and ran the dishwasher, cleaned out my trunk and loaded stuff in there to be dropped off at Goodwill, packed lunch, and stopped at Hallmark before work.
I have a proposal due this week and one due next week. Oy.
Gym today...treadmill or Urban Rebounder? I can't decide.

I woke up to pouring rain and just wanted to roll over and go back to bed. You? I don't know if I have anything to do at work today. And that means my boss will find some BS task for me. I was really tempted to just stay home.
Last night, I made the sugar cookie dough for the bridal shower. Tonight, I plan to roll it, cut it and freeze. Tomorrow I'll bake them straight from the freezer. I think doing this a little at a time is the only way I'll get them done and still enjoy my birthday this weekend.

it is cold and rainy here again. my neck has been in an insane amount of pain, so i am booking out of here early today to go get a deep tissue massage at the spa next door. then errands, laundry, cleaning a bit, and renewing our lease. big exciting day.

What the hell is up with the rain? It is so hard to get up every day when it's raining.
Driving up to Boston this weekend and that is a drive I do NOT want to do in the farting rain.

morning ladies. i'm a hot mess today. pugface woke DH up at 3 and he couldn't fall back asleep. as soon as my alarm went off at 4:45, he was a snuggle bug and i didn't roll out of bed til 10 after 6. yeesh. it was all i could do to put deod on and brush my teeth. work besties are out sick, so i will be slammin' today. (good thing i remembered deoderant, right?)
last night i got home, picked up DH and we went to the bank, post office, goodwill, new house, mcdonalds, then home. he's been a slacker joe on packing, so i made him clean out his dresser (more goodwill, great!), nightstand and closet. we each packed 3 boxes and i passed out at 10:30 after half a bottle of wine. our wine glasses are packed and I was drinking out of a plastic tumbler. hello, tipsy in 2.5 minutes. prolly why i got such a late start today...

I slept the whole night thru and didn't end up sleeping on the couch.. YAY me!! I use to be such a great sleeper, not so much right now.
I had a dream that Greg and I were sledding with LO. The same place I use to go sledding growing up. It was a girl and I was about to say her name and I woke up.. grrr.
Greg and I stayed home last night watched some Pawn Stars. Tonight he is working so I will check up on my DVR'd shows and the season finale of One Tree Hill.
Last night was pretty uneventful. I came home and read some of my book "The Help" (it's so hard to put down) then did some 30 day shred with jillian since Jeremy took the car to tennis. I died. Then I cooked supper. Read a little more then watched Secret Life and MIOBI and called it a night.
I was going to get up and go to the gym bright and early this morning but I didn't hear my first alarm so I'm going this afternoon and if doesn't rain,then we're going to play tennis too.
Work is slow...no kiddos this week. I have to finish something on my 3 pre-k students but that's it.
Last night MFD said my butt looks good and smaller. Hollerrr.
I have decided on the treadmill on incline today.
Rain makes me yawn.
I need new black flats.

4) so so so badly do i need a GOOD pair of black flats! my fave pair is from COLLEGE and has HOLES in them. i cannot give them up. they are from nordstroms and i want steve madden to make the exact same pair again so i can just buy the same ones. my backup pair are tory burches, but i think they might have been fakes...they are falling apart. good thing i got them at a yard sale for only $1!

I am a raging B***h today. The past two nights I have slept terrible and just finally gotten up around 3:45-4 am. It's catching up with me.
J is getting on my nerves. Sometimes I think he feels like I just wait around to clean up after him and I enjoy it! Yes I just cleaned the freaking house, so how about you not leave your dirty socks on the floor in the livingroom, pizza crumbs on the kitchen counter, and half empty soda cans all over. Also, I just bought new sunglasses 2 weeks ago, he was joking around and wore them on Saturday. Went to put them on this morning, and his fat head stretched them out!!! I'm hoping if I bend them enough, without breaking them, they might fit my head again rather than just falling right off.
We had a wedding friday night for my friend who's mom passed away a couple weeks ago. Thought we were going for just a reception but she surprised everyone and had a secret surprise ceremony too. It was really nice and fun.
I'm hoping to get through the day without biting anyone's head off at work. I've warned everyone to leave me alone. If they don't, that's their fault. I'm either preggers, or getting ready for a major B***h of a period.
However, I'm super happy to be able to get on her today and chat with you ladies, b/c you all make me smile. :-)

Smaller butts ya!!
Last night E and I went to Target, then home to make dinner, watch "How to Train a Dragon", check up on her flowers, then showers and bed.
I have a test on Saturday and Im scared of it. It just kicks my arse cuz it's tricky and doesn't test what you know at all. dumbers. On top of it all Im dead tired.
I believe that is it.
this is the worst. i hate being in a bad mood anyway, but when gerren doesnt help and in fact contributes to it? no, wiping crumbs off the table and onto the floor is not acceptable. no, it is not ok to leave your hats, socks, beer cans, milk glasses, etc, all over the house. no, laundry does not belong on the floor, sorry.
gerren has been better about this recently (or i am too tired and lazy to notice/care) but all winter this kind of stuff really pushed me over the edge.

ugh, milk glasses drive me nuts!!!! I don't really drink milk, so it drives me even more insane. At our old place we didn't have a dish washer, so it would drive me crazy that he not only left them everywhere, but that they weren't rinsed out! SO then I would have to try and shove my big "man hand" into the glass to clean it. Now that we have a dishwasher it's a little better, but still annoying. It's just so weird to me, b/c it's not even like he lived with his mom or anyone who constantly cleaned up after him.
OMG that is so me! I have literally cried every night/day at something dumb on the tv. I am so emotional I haven't been like this ever. AF is 4 days late right now. I don't feel any back pain like a AF is coming but who knows. I don't get my hopes up anymore.
Last night me and H went to dinner and a movie. (and his parents backed out and didn't come) It was a nice little date night!
Well hello Tuesday. Last night we put together the invites for Rich's 30th B-day bash. I have outdone myself again, and I give myself a pat on the back for being so crafty. I should have taken a pic of them so I could have PIP.
We went to Famous Dave's last night because after my day at work I needed a beer, or two. I've also been craving chicken wings so we shared a basket.
I hope today is a better day. I have an interview for another volunteer opportunity working with domestic violence/sexual assault survivors. I think for dinner tonight we're making ribs and corn on the cobb. I also want to do a few loads of laundry if possible, and watch Glee. That sums it up for my evening today.

Yesterday I tilled and raked our garden. It is now completely ready to start planting seeds and hopefully plants too (still frosting almost every night). We are headed out soon today since we both have the day off. I might be going to my sister's later to make her family dinner and then going to the high school band concert, just for something to do that isn't working on our house, lawn, or garden.
Still finishing up some things for the baby shower this weekend, mostly making pom poms to hang.
wahoo!!! That's a good sign though! I understand not wanting to get your hopes up though. I've been struggling with that (not just pregnancy related) b/c I have friends that believe if you put positive out there in the world then it will happen. (So i guess, if I think i'm preggers, then it will happen.....) Which I think is a great moto, but I also believe in not getting hopes up, which is a contradiction of the first moto. Vicious dilemma I have......
Moleson, I feel 'ya on the husband front! I keep asking H to help out more at home, and he'll do it that night, and then slack off again. Grr. Last night we double teamed dinner (flank steak soft tacos; I'm the grill master and he chopped the lettuce, etc.) and I asked him to close up the grill before bed (I'm too short to do it easily). He tells me this morning that "we" forgot to close it up, and it rained last night. I gave him this face:

Oh, and my work scanner turned my Predator photo into a black blob, and our home scanner is broken. I'll go to Costco or somewhere this weekend and try to scan them in.

Trying to muster the energy to go grocery shopping. Cannot figure how I am home all week long and still have laundry and cleaning left for the weekends. Towels have been in the dryer for two days and still haven't had time to fold them. Yikes. Don't know how full-time SAHMs do it.
Baby Q goes for his one month checkup today. Hopefully he's still gaining weight since we changed his feedings. Otherwise, no news is good news from this corner of the universe.

Happy Tuesday! It's my birthday so I'm in a good mood. My co-workers all got me a card and had a breakfast party in the office this morning which was really nice and before I even went to work H laid out my gift for me to find in the morning. I got a beautiful Tiffanys necklace - he did good
Today I came in at 7AM for an early meeting so I get to leave early this afternoon. Works out nice so I actually have time to get changed in a relaxing manner before we go out to dinner tonight without H bugging me to hurry up; we're gonna miss our reservation, etc lol
Also excited because last night we found out that H's step-sister is pregnant. She's a few years older than us (28) and not married yet but now they are going to start officially planning a wedding (H's step-mom is pressuring them to get married now that they're bringing a little one into the world). Looks like we'll have a wedding and a baby shower coming up!
