Ryley passed away at 3:15 this morning. Shannon posted on FB last night that they'd given him a "big boy bed" so that they could cuddle, so I like to think that he went out happy in his parents arms.
Rest in peace little man, we love you.

I have no idea. Derek got a BBM from Tim this morning letting us know and then called him.
I doubt the girls understand, I mean, they're not even 3 yet. They probably see that mommy and daddy are sad, and they might wonder where brother is, but I just don't see them grasping the full situation.
We're likely going out to see them this afternoon.

This breaks my heart I am crying at my desk! I can't imagine any parent having to go thru such a tragedy. I will be praying for them and the rest of the family and friends . Raynes if there is anything we can do please let us know!
To put it in perspective my 3yr old niece still asks me where my babies are even though her parents explained it to her in a number of ways. I'm sure it's different when it's immediate family.
I'm so sorry to hear this.... thank you for always sharing his sweet and too short life with us, raynes. I hope he's at peace and that he's family can find the strength they need. I'll be keeping the whole family in my thoughts...
