Survey: Couples G2G **POLL ADDED, PLEASE VOTE!**
So, at our intimate get together on Friday we discussed having a couples G2G. I know there have been a lot of G2G's lately and one book club coming up, so maybe in June?
Would anyone be interested in this?

He doesn't get home until 5:30 so it would have to be 6 or later. As for day of the week....it kind of just depends on the week. I know that's not super helpful!
Preference on part of town?
We live in Frisco so I am always happy with Addison again! If not, I guess I could do Grapevine, but DH doesn't like to drive very far!

Yes!!! I am so glad that this topic was brought up, I wanted to suggest it before, but I was affraid I would get flamed.
Siavash and I would be up for this. We live in Mckinney so things on the Dallas/ Plano side would work better for us. We'd be up for dinner and/or happy hour( minus the alcohol for me) and weekends or after 6:30-7 on weekedays.

What sort of G2G should it be? (i.e. happy hour, dinner, some sort of activity) I'm up for anything from happy hour to skydiving.
What day of the week/time would be best? During the week usually after 6:30 and anytime on the weekend except Sunday morning.
Preference on part of town? Anything within 20 minutes of Carrollton during the week.. so Plano, Addison, Frisco, Grapevine, etc. On the weekend, we will go anywhere.
As far as part of town, Grapevine/Las Colinas is best for us.
Would anyone be interested in this? I definitely am - I'm sure I can talk James into being interested too. I was also afraid to suggest this but had been thinking about it!

What day of the week/time would be best? Weekends are better, and later in June would be better so that DH is actually back in town (he leaves Friday for 2+ weeks).
Preference on part of town? On weekends, anywhere is fine. Weeknights, Addison or Plano would be about as far as we can venture (I work in downtown D).
We used to belong to a couple's group and we went to a murder mystery dinner and Speed Zone. There was something else but I can't remember. What about something like Dave and Buster's? They have the restaurant but you can also do something. I hate it but what about bowling? Main Event?
I can see how people don't do the painting thing, it's not everyone's cup of tea.
Weekends work best for us especially if it's far away but weekdays could work if it's after 6. The only day that doesn't work for us would be Thursdays at the moment and before 2 or so on Saturdays.

DH usually gets home around 6:30 - 7, so after that on a weekday. We live in Plano, but right off 121, so it's usually not that much a problem for us to get anywhere in a reasonable amount of time. We like painting, bowling, etc. Sorry, but no skydiving here. He would, you couldn't pay me to do it.
I usually lose anyways so I wouldn't feel as bad as losing to a 'professional', LOL.
Another cousin and I had miserable experiences with my grandpa regarding bowling when we were growing up and when people ask what we want to do in a group setting, we simultaneously will say "NOT bowling!" Everyone else likes it though *shrug* If it's in fun, I'm okay with it.
Haha yea :-) Maybe you could do a time poll and see what everyone agrees on? Or a location one?

How was Houlihan's the other night? Would that be a good place to meet? It sounded like a lot of us could make Addison so that might be a good place.

Addison is an hour without traffic, two with from me - so I am out if it is in Addison.
Mandaroo - I think you and I live pretty close to each other and I think Lacy lives near us too, but I may be wrong.
Well, that's disappointing. Mainly because Taco Diner was kind of the same way. Surely there's a place we can go.
I could almost suggest Maggiano's on a weekend. We would be big enough to get the all you can eat (for those who wanted) but that may be too expensive for some but we'd be allowed to sit there for as long as we wanted or ate.
Yeah I'm afraid it might be too pricey. How many people are required for that?

I'm not going to vote mainly because I can do either place and either day. The only Saturday I can't is June 4th due to graduation that evening.
It depends on when it is but DH said he may be up for it. He loves to bowl so I'm pretty sure I could get him to do that. I don't know if he'd be down for Addison unless I fit Flying Saucer in there for him too. Grapevine is where we do most of our activities anyway so I know that would be much easier for us. I voted Saturday in Grapevine but if we don't have step daughter Friday might work also.
I voted Friday in Grapevine, but Saturday is also fine. I would be hard pressed to convince DH to drive over an hour to meet a group of people he has never met.
This exactly! I'm glad to know that you and Lacy live closer to me!
Okay, a Friday evening in Addison it is. We could do it at 7 or 7:30 to allow anyone who is a little farther away to come if they would like to.
Does June 3rd work for anyone?
Also, any other restaurant suggestions?
