hey! totally swamped getting ready for vacation. good things: i leave for vacation tomorrow!!! cannot wait! so far the volcano in iceland hasn't forced delta to cancel any flights, so i am optimistic.

also, i am getting my hair colored at lunch so i won't have roots by the time the wedding we're going to rolls around. traveling 5K miles and having roots would be too horrible to contemplate. so even tho it's the worst day possible for a longer lunch (just color, no cut), i'm doing it. i'll be here late anyhow and a girl has to have her priorities straight! Wink

one good thing - meeting with a recruiter from a staffing firm Fri about a direct hire job with one of her clients. Commute is much shorter than what I do now and pay is about the same and possibly more. yay.

I'm here. Just back from visiting the school I taught at for 2 years. I got to see my former students that I had for 2 years and former colleagues. It was nice that everyone was happy to see me. So that's my good thing.

My grandparent's 70th wedding anniversary is coming up, so I'm excited about that!

Bad: Sharks lost (the Bay Area girl in me wishes they won).
And DH and I are in a heck of a fight that last few days :-/
