I'm freaking exhausted. Going to bed at 11PM and getting up at 5:15AM is not working for me! I need a nap like WHOA.
In other news, H and I went grocery shopping and our PChoppa is near a Target. We went in to check out a couple of things and on our way out, H decided he wanted to check out the grocery section to see prices on things. Surprisingly, Target blew the chopper out of the water on a couple of things. The only thing I remember is the large box of Multi-Grain Cheerios was $3.29 at Target and $5.29 at the chopper. Ridiculous.
After work, I'm going home and sleeping until our dance lesson at 8PM. Oy.
(An unmatched left parenthesis creates an unresolved tension that will stay with you all day.
The Princess of Anything is Coming!
Had a dream I was queen.
Woke up. Still queen.
Re: Wednesday
wtf, it is only wednesday?? how is that even possible/legal/real??? it should be thursday at 2pm at LEAST!
nothing exciting last night, worked late.
this morning i have already signed up for a 5 mile race and a 10K cancer event. I need to raise AT LEAST $500, so if anyone is interested in donating, let me know.
my mom has surgery today, so i will be booking it out of the office slightly early and so i have time to visit her and go for a run.
and that is about it. back to beautiful weather here, hopefully it lasts!
Blog
Hope you get some sleep soon QoA! I didn't fall asleep til after 2pm and woke up around 7 but went back to sleep.
Last night we decided to go "window shopping" which led to actual shopping to get things we needed for the house. It was fun but whew, we're broke now. Can next week hurry up so we'll have some money again?!
We had leftovers for supper and watched AI. Oh and I think I broke our washing machine. Jeremy's been doing the laundry to help out while I've been at work (thanks babe!) so I haven't had to wash a load in awhile so I was washing the new sheets and now the water isn't draining...hopefully, he'll be able to fix it when he wakes up.
Morning. I can't explain it, but for some reason the traffic has been absolutely horrible EVERY SINGLE DAY this week so far. I have left at my normal time - today I actually even left 15 minutes early - but it made no difference and I've been late =(. I don't WANT to stay late and make up the bullshit time I lose just because of the traffic. All I can do is check the traffic report in the mornings and unless it says there is some major kind of accident I have no way of knowing things are backed up until I get on the road. There is no rhyme or reason for it. Thank God for the three day weekend coming up! I need a break just from my commute. Ok, end of the rant.
Tonight H and I need to go grocery shopping but I don't want to buy much since we'll be going away for the long weekend. Other than that, it's excercising again tonight. Nothing too interesting. SO looking forward to our getaway this weekend! We both need it so badly.
On a positive note, the sun and the warmth have arrived in Boston AND I'm feeling like a money bags because my hospital allows us to cash out earned time and since I had over 170 hours of vacation time racked up I cashed out 40 and gave myself an extra paycheck this week. YAY!
Sleep deprivation is the pits!
Shauni, when is your cancer event? I am tight this month and June due to various trips, need to update two passports, and my Relay, but am interested in donating.
This morning I put some laundry away before I left. My train was late, which is a crappy way to kick things off.
emilyann, what did you guys get for the house?
City, huzzah for an extra paycheck. That rocks!! Want it.
Morning all. I'm on my 2nd cup of coffee and finally starting to feel normal.
Last night I left work, went to find the polka dot dress (no luck), went to Whole Paycheck, got home, did 18000 loads of laundry and made dinner. DH was super grumpy from unpacking all day, so his fave dish cheered him up.
Watched BL, folded said 18000 loads of laundry, searched hi and lo for my fuel belt (Shauni, DH unpacked that box and it was MIA!), read my Kindle and was out by 10:30. When I woke up this morning, DH was spooning the pugface. Cutest.thing.ever. Trying to work out the fastest route for the new commute and so far I've been late both days. Fail. Another new route tomorrow. Tonight is kickball sign up, so I will get to see my besties. Wahoo!
EXTREMELY jealous. Super excited for the bun in the oven, but I am going through coffee withdrawls.
Last night it took everything to stay awake. I didn't really accomplish this task. So when Greg got home at 12:30 we ended up talking since I haven't really seen him in a couple day due to his work schedule and then I couldn't go back to sleep.
Baby doctor appointment number 2 today. I think I am more happy about leaving work 2 hours early. Tomorrow I have such a long day. We have graduation after work which I have to go to and we go out to dinner after so I will be having a late night. Hopefully I will have the energy.
Just any FYI- Target usually has pretty good coupons on their website too. Just a thought if you're into saving more money. :-)
it is dark and gloomy and rainy here today. i don't like it. I didn't sleep well last night, therefore, I would love to be at home snuggled in bed with furbaby, the tv remote, and busy watching craptastic lifetime movies or something. but instead i'm at work.
last night J made steaks on the grill. I took the smaller one, cuz that's just what we always do. But still, I had my entire steak gone before he even had half of his eaten. that is NOT ok. But it was glorious and wonderful and worth every calorie.
Happy Hump day all!!!!

This is what we're dealing with right now. Every fricken thing is under water. We have rock slides and mudslides and flooded houses and businesses. It's a huge sloppy mess. It only happens like once every 10 years so nobody is prepared and it just sucks.
I did not get in a run last night. Torrential downpour and I wasn't feeling swimming instead of running. We watched DVR'd AI and then the end of the ball game (I hate the Heat like I hate the Yankees). Off to bed and I was snoring good until E woke up at 230 because she lost her spatula.
Today I might take a couple hours off the end of my work day I need to pack desperatly and clean hard before we leave. Monday when we get back we are getting a kitty...maybe 2 :-)
IUI #1 10/12/11 (Bravelle + HCG + Prometrium & acupuncture) = 10/26 BFP! Beta #1=250, Beta #2= 615. 1st u/s 11/8.
Morning all! Yesterday I had the final exam for my last class EVAH and I am beyond excited about that shiz being over. I can finally be a contributing member of society once again! Today we're going out to a local pub for lunch to celebrate a co-worker's birthday, and I'm not drinking but I will certainly indulge in some bad-for-me food, I feel like I earned it.
I also just finished the Sookie Stackhouse books and started the Paris Wife (thanks for the rec, Stephaniem!!) and I am loving it. It's a nice change of pace, and much better written than Sookie. Not that I didn't think they were fun reads, but I did sort of feel like I was losing IQ points so I needed to balance it out a bit.
I can't believe it's only wednesday!?! I have no plans today. Yesterday I took the day off and me and H hung out until he had to go to work around 1. Then me and the roomate went to the pool and swim and read for a little while. I only stayed out there for about 45 minutes because since I am still peeling I didn't want my fresh skin to get burnt.
I was telling H that if we had got pregnant the first time we tried back in early october we could possibly be having one very soon. haha It was so wierd! He was speechless.
Jessie...ugh. That blows.
Speaking of sleep deprivation...I'm suffering. Hubby and I decided it would be a good idea to start watching weeds so we did a marathon session yesterday while we worked. We couldn't stop watching it and got through two seasons. Needless to say, we didn't get to bed until 3am.
Speaking of buns in the oven...we were supposed to book about appointment with the fertility doctor yesterday.
TTC since 2010
Me: 36, slightly elevated FSH. Everything else (hysterescopy, HSG, b/w) normal.
DH:30, with super sperm? >200mil post wash
BFP #1 - May 2011 - m/c @ 8weeks
IUI #1 - July 26 2012 - Femara = BFN
Suprise BFP Jan 15 2013. Hope this one sticks!
I'm so irritated right now. I tried ordering a refill of my mom's insulin. I called the refill reorder number which is 24 hours. I was on hold for 15 minutes and no one answered, the phone just kept ringing. I tried ordering it last night and the same thing. What is up with these people? Don't they know that people need their rx's refilled? Has it occurred to them to have an automated sytem, or a queue to let people know: you are the 4th caller, please hold we will be with you momentarily, or something similar? This is driving me bonkers!
So that's my morning so far. I'm on my first cup of coffee. Last night I was glued to the tv to watch the American Idol...NOT! I did watch Glee and now I definitely know that I want to go to NYC for my 30th birthday next year.
Oh and just heard that Kim K. is now engaged and has a 20 carat diamond ring. Really? 20 carat's? A bit excessive?

QOA- Richard goes to bed at 11 pm and wakes up at 5:15 am too. You poor, poor, things.
Em- I agree with Steph, show us what you bought
Brew- You're such a good wifey.
Everyone with crappy weather sory to hear about it.
We got new curtains and curtain rod for the dining room. They're supposed to be the solar ones to help block the heat but we'll see how well they work. I'll try to PIP later. We also got a new quilt and 2 sets of sheets (buy 1, get 1 at kohl's!) for the spare bedroom. I'm super excited about those. Again, I'll PIP once we get it all set. And then some new sheets for our bed which I'm super excited about. Hello 600 thread count!
I LOVE the Sookie books, but oh man, I 100% agree with you on that.

No. I can go in person, the clinic is only 5 minutes from work.
Uhoh what's going on???
Coffee/caffine was the 1 thing I would not give up. I just am more conscience of how much I drink
Morning ladies. I'm here, but again just barely. Yesterday, I had my first migraine in months, and it was (1) a doozy, and (2) made worse because I could only take Tylenol. Rough doesn't begin to describe it. Still feeling wiped out today. I went in to see the reflexologist, and she helped it to move along, but still, it's rough.
I'm with Xtine, I haven't totally given up caffeine. I prepped myself over the several months before we got pg so that I was down to like a can or two of soda, and a cup of black or green tea. The books say you can have up to 200 mg a day, so I say have at least a cup! Whatever helps you get through.
Morning/Afternoon all!
Yesterday DH and I tried to get as much done around the house as possible. We almost finished our desk (seriously the longest project ever) and are really attempting to get organized. I would really like to order some new bedding for our guest bedroom and try to find some curtains for our living room. Anyone know a solution for piano windows?
I went for a 3 mile run last night and fought for every step during the first half, then the second half went much smoother as I finally got in a rhythm. Feel great today, not sore at all, and plan on heading out on another 3 miler soon.
The cats are almost getting along finally, although the little guy just discovered our second story and our older girl thinks that is her territory.
I'm with the caffeine drinking mamas, I don't think it's good to stress your body hard by totally cutting the caffeine.
Laura, so glad you're enjoying The Paris Wife. Congrats on your last class!!! I also agree on the Sookie books. That being said, I can't wait to get my hot little hands on the latest release. I'm on the waiting list at the library.
Jessie - holy shiz. All that water. That is a nightmare. E was missing her spatula? Congrats on the kitties coming next week!
MushE - I cannot imagine only being able to take tylenol for a migraine. EEeeee.
Emilyann - SWEET purchases! Especially the sheets.
