Well, I have PCOS. I went to the doctor Tuesday and I definitely have it. So, she's sending me for blood work, once a week for 3 weeks to see if my progesterone levels go up. If they do, then of course I ovulated during that time, if not, then she's going to put me on medication to make me ovulate.
I don't know if any of you have been on the medication, but if you have, did it work? How long did it take before you got pg? Any side effects?
I go back on June 21st to go over the blood work. In the meantime, H and I are still TTC just incase I do ovulate this cycle.
I hope all you ladies are doing great! Happy Memorial Day weekend!
Re: Haven't been on in a while...Update on TTC
I haven't, but wanted to wish you luck. I had my initial consult with a RE a few weeks ago (after TTC for over a year) and we finish up our inital round of testing this week - so I know the frustration of seeing BFN's month after month after month. Hope you get a BFP soon!

PAIF/SAIF/PGAL welcome
I'm sorry
That sucks! I too have PCOS which has made TTC a challenge. In April I started my first round of Clomid, and while I did ovulate I didn't get pregnant. I took a break from the Clomid in May (due to being on vacation and away from H during potential O dates) and I should be starting it up again this month. I didn't have too many side effects from the Clomid other than painful ovulation.
Let me know if you have any other questions! GL to you and I hope you get your BFP soon!

Thanks for the info, she didn't tell me what medication I'd be on, but I was thinking that it was that one. No, I'm not seeing a RE, just my regular OBGYN. She told me I didn't need to see any type of specialist yet since we're just starting out.
