Re: QOTD
April 10th.
It was the only Saturday, within a few months, that was open at our venue. We jumped on it!
We got engaged in April 08' and we didn't really want to wait to get married. The church and the hall had the date open, so we took it.

We originally wanted a date in September, but the church and hall couldn't line up that month - so Oct. 3rd it was. It was a beautiful day though - it all worked out!

We decided to have a Halloween themed wedding. I dreaded planning, and figured if I had to do it, I might as well have fun with it. That was the weekend closest to Halloween.
this exactly!
December 16th.
We wanted a winter wedding and wanted to get married before Christmas to that all the decorations would still be up at Church and at St. Johns.
Too much earlier and it would have conflicted with my school schedule, since it was my last semester. The week after that was Christmas, so that was obviously out.
We originally thought of Saturday, the 17th but the Church was having their Christmas concert. We settled on Friday the 16th.
June 5 (our first anniversary is Sunday!)
We wanted a late spring/early summer wedding. It was a few weeks after student teaching, and a few weeks before another friend's wedding, so we would be back from our honeymoon in time for that. Worked perfectly!
we wanted an early October wedding so we could get fall colors but not be freezing, the 1st was already booked at the church. That year it was 73 on the first and 52 on the 8th.
