Re: Drinks Survey!
This is actually a cider mixed with a beer but it's not a "normal" beer. They brew it differently so it doesn't have the "beer taste". 3 of the GM in our wedding have a home brewery and one of them is going for his masters in brewing(yes it can be done). Hummingbird is my FAVORITE thing to drink at Flying Saucer. They tried explaining it to me but I just smiled and nodded.
I have tried every beer DH drinks at Saucer and I have yet to find one I can finish. I will start out thinking I can do it and just can't finish it. I am still trying though.
Ben loves the Flying Saucer--he goes almost every Friday night. He also has drank every beer at the Bavarian Grill--I think they have over 100. He got a big personalized stein when he was done.
This wasn't all in one night, obviously.

My friend that does my hair works at Flying Saucer and she keeps telling me to come in and she will bring me several different kinds to try...she swears I will like some that they have because they are better than the regular old Miller, Coors, Budlight, etc.

I used to love beer...a little too much! It made me gain weight, so I stopped drinking it.
I love Shiner Original.
I tried a beer while we were in Europe and it did really bad things to my stomach. So, I don't know if my tolerance is just down since I stopped drinking beer about a year ago or what. But it wasn't fun, and I won't be doing that again.
Yum, Shiner Original! That might be the first food/beverage choice we have ever agreed on!
We are members too. I think I am at somewhere between 35-40.

Another beer drinker here! Most of the time, I prefer mixed drinks, but if I'm hot, I just want a beer. So summertime is when I maximize my beer consumption.
Non Alcoholic Beverage (other than water): Diet Dr. Pepper
Beer: Coors Light is my go-to beer. I let DH order me a lighter beer whenever we go to Flying Saucer so I can "branch out" from the common types of beer.
Wine: Pinot Noir is my favorite, but any red will do.
Mixed Drinks: Rum and Diet is my go-to. But lately I've been having my favorite bartender make me surprises -- Lemon Drops and German Chocolate Cake. Yum!
Liquor: Whiskey, believe it or not. In particular, DH and my "thing" is Wild Turkey. We ran through many, many bottles at our wedding (not just us!)
Non Alcoholic Beverage (other than water): Peach Tea
Beer: Strongbow! (a cider beer)
Wine: Reisling white
Mixed Drinks: Pomegranate Martini from BJs, yum!
Liquor: Patron

Wine: Fetzer Gewurztraminer, Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay, Times Ten Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon

Liquor:Not a fan of it straight, but mixed I guess I like Vodka, Rum and Tequila
