We are not loyal to just one...yet! We are still pretty new to cruising.
We went on Royal Caribbean last year and loved it!! We have a RC booked in Nov. of this year and a Carnival (on their new ship, Magic) booked next year in May 2012. We are also booking a Celebrity in Nov. 2012 and a Princess in April 2013...
I'm sure our favorite will be Celebrity...but our pocket books may like RC or Carnival better
We went years without a vacation and after the HM we knew we needed to start enjoying life more and vacationing more often, so our plan is every 6 mns. It helps living close enough to drive to Galveston...saves a ton vs. flying!
I have friends who are doing their 20th cruise on Magic in Dec 2011. They are die-hard Carnival people.
ITA about Galveston, it makes cruising really affordable.
She was planning to go to El Centro--they have a very good culinary/pastry program and she has always planned to be a pastry chef.
However, I see signs that that might change. She has gotten very interested in history as of late. But, I think that she will most likely go to either a community college or possibly UTD to start. Her grades and ACT/SAT scores are good. But she has never been away from home and I simply don't think she is ready go yet.

I've always gotten a variety of names all my life because of the 'y' in my name, nothing new, and I just hung up the phone on a girl who asked for "Hi-Mee." It's one thing when you are in person and you can overhear how she spells her weird name but since you gals only see my name on the boards, when you first saw my real name (even now), how did you think it was pronounced?
I thought it was pronounced just like the other spelling: Jamie.
Honestly at this point, I am looking for any job I can qualify for! :-) I have experience with admin and working in a medical office.

"hi-mee?" really? That's ridiculous. I thought it was pronounced like the way it sounds.
The things that throw people off sometimes blow my mind.
I had a Lean Cuisine ravioli and a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese and some wheat thins. I am also still hungry. *sigh* Later I'll have a yogurt with granola.

I thought it was pronounced just like it looks to me.

Re lunch: I skipped lunch today because I was still full from my bacon egg and cheese biscuit from McDonald's this morning. Another fine example of my horrible eating habits.

No, no names yet ( at least that we can agree on). I have suggested a few names, and Siavash hasn't like any of them, which in all honestly is fine, because I wasn't too crazy about those names anyway ( they were just ideas).

For lunch: it was almost an air sandwich because I didn't have time to grab anything but I stole a piece of pizza and am starving. Oh well I'll have to wait until supper.

I thought it was Jaymi as in Jay-Me. I've seen it spelled, Jamie, Jaime and now Jaymi. My half brother's name is "Hi-mee" and is spelled Jaime. But, I've never known "Hi-mee" to be a girls name.
Doppledanger - I've been told I look like Winona Ryder - when she was in Beetlejuice. DH also calls me Coraline, because I used to have a chin length bob and looked just like her.
I used to get Britney Spears too... back when she first started, and I had highlights.
