We are going with my parents. They are much bigger gamblers than we are so we get the room comped and just have to pay for the flight.
We chose October because my mom and I are going to see Elton John. We saw him in Vegas in 2007 and then after the show DH proposed!
I really hope that it's that her books are going to be released to e-readers. That could make a week in the Dominican Republic a little easier.

My MIL keeps trying to get us to go. We just don't have the funds for it right now. Because although airfare is relatively cheap, I want to go to Vegas and be able to spend some money! And we just don't have a lot of it right now since we spent so much of our annual travel money in Europe.
I've never been to Vegas. When I go for the first time, I want to go all out!
And, er, I don't really want it to be with my MIL...

You should! I don't know how long the deal will last, but I can tell you I have been tracking since I got back from Mexico (5/24) and this is the cheapest so far by $70.
It's either that or go over to TK. Besides, I check with you guys every 15 minutes or so.

Right before the last two books came out, I spent so much time on Muggle Net. I even bought some of the books that they put out about who would die, etc. There was one very interesting theory that McGonagall was a Death Eater. Very interesting chapter.

Julie - oh really? I bet that was interesting. Would you recommend reading them now, or since I've already read all the books at least twice, would it be a waste of time?
I think they'd still be worth reading. Let me see if I can find them on Amazon. By the way, have you read "Tales of the Beetle Bard" and the little trio of books that she did about quidditch and magical creatures? I have read the little trio yet but TotBB was really good.
I have not read those books, either. I will definitely have to look into all these books. I love HP.
