Re: Lacey-this is for you!

  • Summer- Fashion question for you.  I am not much of a heel wearer anymore so I honestly don't know much about today's shoe fads.  Anyway...the "toe" platform (like your wedding shoes) is that comfortable?

I know it is the style, but how does it feel?

    No, it's not comfortable IMO.

The only thing I find "comfortable" are wedges. But, comfort, or lack-thereof, has never stopped me before! haha.

Wow, I had no idea that was Chelsea.  Hi!!!

I've had some of the platform shoes, and I hate them.  They are weird to walk in, and I clunk around in them.  Heels with no platform, no issues.

I am the exact opposite.  I think a little platform helps take some of the weight off your feet or keep them from sliding down.  I think they are way more comfortable.  It's just a personal preference...whatever your feet like best after hours of wear.

Oh Lacy I completely agree. They are comfortable relatively speaking. If you are comparing them to a non-platform pump. However, just in general, are they comfy to walk around in for hours? Not to me, no.

I agree, Lacy.    It takes a little getting used to but I do like them better.

  • I also like platform shoes better.  To me it seems to not make my foot arch so much and puts more shoe in between my foot and the ground.  Just my opinion.

Platform shoes are not appreciated at my office.  Imagine that.  :)
