She chose us. I'm going to have a son in about a month. Holy crap! We're not saying anything on facebook until it gets closer because there's a lot that could still go wrong. (mostly paperwork) issues, but I wanted you guys to know.
Who's in Utah? We're going to be there for at least 10 days with the baby.

I am in shock, and freaking out. We have like 30 days to get everything together.
Apparently at first she wasn't going to pick us due to the paperwork issue, but she thought about it, and called her worker back and said that Jesus was leading her to pick us, and that He would take care of everything. She also said that she has no regrets picking us, and knows that her baby will be so loved with us.
So far it's going to be a semi-open adoption where she knows our first names, and we then share pictures and letters through the agency. She hasn't decided how much contact she wants with us yet though.
Oh my goodness, I am so happy for you guys.
