Alex has spent a good chunk of the day making a book for his baby sister! It is too sweet. A huge mess, but too sweet!

Addie was telling people about her brother and sister for a long time (since before we started trying). Telling strangers about her siblings, etc. They were named Colfetti (both of them) and they all had a dog named Cotti. One day we were at old navy and she said -there's my brother. turns out she had been talking about the mannequins in the store. She still talks to them every time we go there.

I got engaged to the MOST WONDERFUL man over Memorial Day Weekend. I couldn't be more happy! I know that this is where life lead me and I can't wait to be his wife, he's my best friend!!! I never knew a love like this existed! He is absolutely.amazing. with DD, they hit it off and are inseparable when she's with us!
P.S. I told XH yesterday and he took it much better than I expected!!

I don't remember there being this many choices when I picked my wedding cake flavors! I was given the Ooh La La menu and told to choose which flavors/fillings/icings I wanted for my shower- and I feel like I need a taste testing so I can make sure I'm getting the best one!

I know I was the one who wanted to get away for a weekend, but when DH booked said weekend as a one night stay instead of a 2 night stay, which meant a 5 hour drive from st louis to chicago on friday late morning, crappy food on friday night, a king size bed for both of us and daughter (who sleeps like a fighting samurai) then a long morning at the aquarium followed by a 5 hour drive back to st louis, and crappy lunch along the way (oh and it was my birthday that day by the way) all done while feeling LARGE at 34 weeks pregnant with wickid carpal tunnel in my hands and swollen feet and legs from all the walking.
I want a do over.
my weekend sucked. and I love. I mean LOVE my birthday. and I feel like this one got shot in the foot.
and I can't get the damn wireless modem to link up to my laptop. I"m so f-in frustrated I'm ready to just pay the geeks to do it for me.

I never thought that I would feel so totally alone re-entering the dating world. All of my friends are married, and have been married for quite a while. I feel like I'm finally ready to start dating again, and it's a whole new world from when I dated last, which was in 2003 when xH and I started dating. 8 years is a long time to not date, the rules have changed apparently. I am baffled that anyone would ask you out by text. Or annouce that they are an leg and @ss man, and they like sex several times a week without even meeting you. Is this what I have to deal with now?
