Five Things Friday
1. There is a wild turkey that has been hanging out around the property for the past month or so.
2. It is completely creepy looking and is missing a foot. It can fly, but it hops around on one foot, intensifying the whole creepy factor.
3. The other day, DH stepped out onto the back patio and the thing was standing RIGHT THERE about 5 ft. away. DH yelled like a girl and ran back in the house.
4. It was hilarious. 
(Although I guarantee if I had seen the thing that close, I would have completely freaked out)
5. We also have a mother and baby deer that have come up by the house a few times, but I haven't seen them in a little while.

1. Ritzy's post cracked me up.
2. I did Zumba for the first time yesterday - kicked my @$$ BUT it's a great workout. I can see me getting into great shape if I keep it up.
3. There were moments in class I thought I might hurl but I got past it.
4. I was so glad it was 62? when I left the class - it felt great to get outside.
5. I put on my "post pregnancy" jeans this morning and got tired of hiking them up so I pulled out the pair of jeans I used before I caved and bought maternity jeans. They went on just fine and zipped up without issue. I'm now a size smaller! Just two more sizes to go and I'll be back in my pre pregnancy jeans!

2. Today is Hunter's 9 month appt.
3. I am excited to leave work early to take him.
4. I am not happy DH has to miss it.
5. Unfortunately, I have to sit through a meeting before it.

1. Today is Carl's birthday. I did a much better job for Father's Day. We aren't sure what to do today...
2. But tomorrow we are going to the Tiger's Game and I'm spending my first night away from Cam.
3. Cam is 5 months old today.
4. We made chicken fajitas last night. We're obsessed with them and have them weekly.
5. All I can think about is scoring a Super Rope tomorrow. And I'm not 100% sure how I'll get it because we'll be in a suite. It's going to require me seeking out the stupid Super Rope guy. Suuuuuper Roooope Super Super Rooooope!
My Happy House
1. DH has been out of town all week and I've realized I get really bored when there is no one to talk to in the evening....
2. When I get bored, I eat... It sucks!
3. I'm looking for a refrigerator for DH for the garage. We've been scouting garage sales for the last few weeks, but have come up with nothing! I guess I'll be hunting through craigslist today!
4. I'm making a strawberry rhubarb crisp this evening for a "dinner club" dinner that my neighbor is hosting. I plan on making a double batch so I can take it to an afternoon party tomorrow too!
5. We have 6 days to get the rest of the crap out of our apartment and to finally be rid of this lease. I think that if we've lived without everything that is left in the apartment for the past 2 months, then we probably don't need it. I'm going to try to convince DH to let me put it all in a garage sale!

1. Northville decided to charge photographers to shoot on their grounds. Therefore, I have to find another location for Gabriel's 1 year shoot because the fee is OUTRAGEOUS. I'm extremely pissed off right now.
2. My work laptop is broken. I cannot transport it. I don't see a new one in my future anytime soon.
3. This is the first free weekend we've had since the beginning of May.
4. Gabriel woke up at midnight to play. Finally at 2:15am I put him back in his crib. He cried for 5 min and then passed back out. I'm not sure what his deal is lately, but something's gotta give.
5. I got my hair cut and colored yesterday FINALLY.

1. I can't wait to not have to wear maternity clothes.
2. I am super excited that we had our bathroom fan vent installed last night.
3. I miss running a lot. I think I say this frequently, but it's the thing I miss most right now.
4. I think it's ok to have had a hard time conceiving, but still not love being pregnant. It's the end result of actual babies I've always looked forward to the most.
5. I don't feel like working today.
I've never been a huge fan of Northville, but this is really ridiculous! Have you considered downtown Plymouth? I don't think they have a fee....I would hope not anyway.
1. We watched the movie The Company Men last night. It was just ok.
2. We called MIL last night to ask what she is doing for her birthday today... thinking maybe we would meet her and FIL for dinner. She told us she isn't celebrating this year, doesn't want to do anything, etc. What a debbie downer.
3. One week from today we'll be up north at the cabin. I seriously cannot wait!!
4. My boss just sent me an invite for a conference call while I was typing this. It starts in 10 minutes. WTF, thanks for the heads up.

1. I am so tired, DD did not want to sleep last night, she's been sick and she might be getting a tooth, so I didn't want to make her cry it out.
2. She's also been having a hard time going to sleep at night, so I will be researching bedtime routines today.
3. This is summer, right?
4. Wow, I need to stop complaining!
5. I am happy today is Friday!!!
1. I am hoping to miraculously go into labor this weekend so I don't have to be induced
2. I am more scared for this labor than last.
3. I almost bought an awesome double stroller yesterday off CL, but someone snatched it up before I got there. I'm so disappointed - it's the 3rd time this has happened
4. My job really stresses me out and sometimes I feel like I can't take it!
5. I will need to return to work before 6 weeks and that's really stressing/upsetting to me.
1. My DH is an avid hunter but deathly afraid of mice and small rodents.
2. Next week he has to go out of town for work to catch, freeze and test mice.
3. He's freaking out. Even his boss tried to get him off the job since she knows he is afraid of them.
4. he won't even set traps in our own garage (we had a problem with them a while back), he made my son do it.
5. DH was telling his dad about his trip for work next week and his dad asked "are you taking Josh with you?" LOL!

Plymouth is on my list, any place in particular you would recommend? We are also highly considering Greenmeade in Livonia. I really wanted a more historical feel. I'm just really irritated. I wanted Mill Race because it's actually a pretty special place to DH. He did his Eagle Scout project there and some of his work is still there. I literally almost cried this morning when I found out.

1. I don't remember the last time I was so happy for Friday. This has been such a horrible week at work.
2. I'm starting to get baby fever but labor scares me so bad that it makes me not want to have one.
3. I have been at work for 2 hours and have done nothing yet.
4. I hate that the one time of year DH gets off work (July 4th week) is one of my busiest weeks of the year and I can't take it off.
5. My FIL is coming to stay with us for a week, this will be our first time ever having a house guest for that long.
1. I'm sneaking out at lunch to grab 10 tank tops from old navy for the $2 tank sale
2. I need to run this weekend and get to yoga I have filled my body with junk lately
3. H walked out the door in casual clothes for casual Friday and I was jealous- I have to wear a SUIT every single day VOMIT
4. My dog has been a total a-hole in the mornings and wants me to get out of bed WAY earlier than I need to....
5. Looking forward to going home and spending time with H and the pups tonight... I'm staying off the computer and just spending time together
1. DH called comcast to get our cable bill lowered this week.
2. After quite a bit, he successfully got it down about $17/mo.
3. The only way to reduce it was to sign up for the triple play, so rather than just lowering our bill, we have been forced to add a phone, upgrade our internet, and add showtime (we already had & were able to keep hbo).
4. I have to leave work about an hour early so that the comcast guy can set the phone up.
5. And to round out my five things entirely with comcast stuff, I'm really pretty excited that we didn't end up cancelling hbo because true blood starts on sunday and I really didn't want to have to wait to see it.
1. I agree with Sheila that it's completely ridiculous that Northville is charging photographers to use Mill Race. It's a public park.
2. I also think Ritzy should name her wild turkey friend.
3. I usually never get to do Five Things Friday because I'm not around on Friday afternoons. This is way easier than Ten Things Tuesday!
4. I'm eating cocoa crispies for breakfast right now. It is amazing, but not very nutritious.
5. I'm going to spend the day with my grandparents today and I'm pretty excited about it.
1. Boss has been up north the last couple days. He is coming back this morning and coming in this afternoon. Who comes back to work on a Friday afternoon? Go away!
2. I keep having bad hair days even though I got my hair cut 3 weeks ago. Growing my hair out isn't working well.
3. I want a latte.
4. I can hear my co-workers ipod in my office from the shop (it's quite a distance). It's docked on speakers. It's cool though because I have liked all the songs so far.
5. I have been busy the last two times the animal rescue I volunteer for has had a big event. Which means I wasn't able to help. I feel bad.
That just cracked me up. Poor little creepy turkey.
Hmm, I like downtown Plymouth because of Kellogg Park, but it's not a particularly historic feel. If I can think of anything along the lines of a historic setting I'll let you know! That really does stink that they're charging to simply take pictures.
1. Tomorrow is DH and mine's 6th anniversary
2. I'm very excited- I took a survery from Pandora and they're suppose to send a free bracelet and glass charm!
3. My jaw is still giving me problems- I'm kind of at a loss over what to do
4. I'm still depressed seeing pictures of myself at my brother's wedding- not a pretty site
5. I can't wait to break out the bounce house on Sunday
1. I only have Saturday off this week because I switch back to working Sunday - Thursday and I have a wedding.
2. I'm sad that I'm not going to have much of a weekend.
3. My divorce is final on Wednesday so I took the day off and then Friday and Saturday are my normal days off. Next week is looking better.
4. I took Thursday off too so I could have a four day weekend but mostly because I plan on being super hungover on Thursday morning. :-)
5.My soccer team is tied for first place for the season. If they break the tie head to head we win but if they do it by number of goals scored all season we are in second. :-/
Fire it up, Let's go get this thing stuck
It seriously is freaky looking. I'm gonna' post a picture. We have this metal peacock garden statue "thing" on the patio, and I swear the turkey thought it was real. Being one-legged, he probably doesn't get a lot of action. Poor guy.
1. Ritzy's 5 things made me laugh.
2. Daisy's #1 made me laugh too.
3. DD sort of sat up/tripod on her own for about 30 seconds last night!
4. I am really liking the Beaumont parenting group we joined, the stuff talked about at each meeting is kind of dumb, but I like the other families in the group.
5. I get to see my other man, Tim McGraw, tonight!
1. DH pulled up the carpet in the family room in preparation for the new carpet to be installed tomorrow.
2. The family room is on a slab so we were expecting to see cement underneath the carpet but were surprised with some yucky peel and stick tiles that started to come up when Dh pulled up the tack strips.
3. We now have to decide if we want to scrape up the tiles or just carpet over. This is assuming the installers will carpet over. Please let them say they will carpet over.
4. I am jealous that Sheila was able to get her hair dyed. I haven't had mine done for 12 weeks and my appointment isn't until the 2nd week of July. I am sick of having 2-toned hair.
5. I got a new phone last friday and I am mourning the loss of a key board. The touch screen is hard to get used to.
1. Ive had the song "Moves like Jagger" stuck in my head for the last few days. It will not go away.
2. Lucas got his shots yesterday, he was so PO at the nurse for touching him that he ripped off both bandaides, ya that really showed her. Whatever makes you happy little guy.
3. We started to paint the nursery last night, I'm excited to get it done and not have paint brushes, rollers, drop clothes and tape everywhere.
4. We pick up our new car tonight!
5. I have no idea what we are going to do for dinner.

1. My toilet is broken but i can't even be mad at my husband for not fixing it because he has been working so hard and late this week.
2. I think Lindsay Lohan looks stupid with that bleach blond hair.
3. I'm going to old navy today and will probably end up spending more than i should but will justify it because "everything is so cheap".
4. I'm jealous of people who are getting all their home improvement projects finished.
5. It's not even 10 and i kinda want a drink.

1. I'm late to the Five Things Party but reading all of your things have been really entertaining.
2. We still have not been able to seal the deal on the new house that we want. We've been negotiating for almost a month. I don't understand what these people want and why we can't come to some sort of agreement. We've almost walked away a couple of times but really want the house. I was really upset about it yesterday and was going to vent about it. I didn't.
3. We have to be out of our house on the 9th and aren't sure where we're going. We haven't hired a mover. I try not to think about it.
4. I cut off 10 inches of hair last night and am going to donate it. It feels crazy to have short hair again. I think I?m going to like it!
5. I haven?t decided if today will be a super productive day or a not productive at all day. I guess I better decide soon.
