One of our girls needs us!
Shansbride's (Jenn) husband was in a serious accident today. He has many injuries and is in critical condition. He was recently moved to ICU and he is stable at this time.
The doctor kept stressing that he is not out of the woods yet so any thoughts, prayers, vibes, etc are greatly appreciated.
A few of us went up there tonight to sit with her and her family and it is just terrible to see them going through this. Hopefully the morning will bring good news.
It sure makes me hold my baby and husband a bit closer, you never think these things are going to happen to you.

Jenn is spending as much time as possible in the room Shannon today. This is going so be a long road for them. I think dinners and/or a collection would be much appreciated but I do not know how to go about getting anything set up.
I was thinking we could set up a bank account for donations. I don't really know how to go about doing this, but I'll see if I can research it today.
I know I'm up here in Stillwater, but I'm in OKC quite a bit - if there's anything that they need, please let me know.

I didn't sleep at all last night just really thinking about her and her babies. Like Bri said, you never think these things will happen to you. I am so glad some of the besties went to the hospital last night to be with her. That was really great, girls.
What, where, and when did this happen?
We've done everything short of holding her down and force feeding her. She's taking small bites here and there but it's not much. Bri is taking more food up today so hopefully she'll eat more.
Erica I don't have your number but FB it to me and I'll text you updates as I get them from Jenn.
My thoughts and prayers are with them and their families.
What about trying to get "food" in her through a drink? Do you think if you brought her a smoothie she might drink it while she is sitting with him or waiting for updates? I hate that her family is going through this. =( I am glad that she has such great friends to help her through. Please let us know if there is anything the rest of us can do to help you all help her and the kids.
For those of you who asked: I'm going to be picking up some food to take to them later this afternoon. I'm sure someone, whether me or another person, will continue to periodically bring them food for as long as necessary--we need to at least try to get this girl to eat something. So if anyone wants to help out, just let me know. You're welcome to help out with today's food delivery (I will make sure Jenn knows it was from you too), or if you want to help out with some food tomorrow or something, I can help coordinate that too.
