We are back home and doing great.
On Wednesday evening I went to the hospital with contractions. They were 2 minutes apart. I ended up spending the night in the hospital and they tried stopping the contractions, but weren't able to. On Thursday afternoon they finally gave up on stopping them and decided we would have her on Friday morning at 36 weeks and 1 day.
I got steroid shots on Wednesday night and Thursday morning just to try to help her little lungs along. The dr was pretty confident that she would be fine, but we were still a little worried.
On Friday they took my cerclage out and I was already 4 cm. The labor was super fast and she came out in one push. I really can't complain.
She looks SO much like Alex did as a baby, except she has a lot of dark hair!
We are both home now and she is doing great. The boys love her and just want to kiss on her all day long!
Oh, and her name is Emily Samira. She was 6 lbs 11 oz and 18.5 inches long.
