It's just so sad that no one will be held repsonsible for Caylee's death. That's the worst part.

It is really sad. :( It sucks that at the end of this whole thing Caylee is still gone and nothing can change that.

    This exactly. So incredibly sad.

Anyone know the max that Casey could get for lying?

I was reading that it's 1yr for each count, and she's already served 2.5-3 yrs.. I also read she could get less for good behavior. blah blah blah

I heard max 4 years. Considering she's already served 3, we'll see what happens with that.

No flames here, although I'm more hoping the jury writes one. I read the book by/about the Scott Peterson jurors ("We the Jury," I think it was called) and have all my fingers and toes crossed for a similar book from this jury.

oooo, that sounds interesting. I'm about to check it on out on Amazon. I didn't follow the Scott Peterson trial. I remember hearing about it, but that's it. I just googled and found out it happened in 02.. I was still in highschool.

  • I am DYING to hear what the jury has to say!  Especially knowing they were coming back with a verdict that would shock the entire country.
  • Wow! I truly did not imagine this outcome.

I am so curious to see what happens Thursday.

I think that that's the most emotion she's shown throughout the entire trial.  God I hope she never gets pregnant again.

  • I was at work when the verdict was announced, I bartend at a large popular restaurant in Tampa.  It was kind of wild when they announced the verdict, every guest and every staff member was standing in the bar area crowded around the televisions.  No one recieved any service during the 5 minutes the jury was reading.  Obviously everyone was shocked.  I kind of wanted to snap a pic of my POV of all the guests reactions, but my eyes were glued on the tv also, just trying to imagine what the heck is going through Casey's mind.   I am not surprised of the verdict in the least, there was too much grey area for a conviction.  Even though I think and feel she is guilty, I'm not 100% positive.  It was definatley interesting to watch inside the courtroom and see how our justice system works.  Now... onto what's really important, baseball season :)
