Bella's 19 months old now... so she'll be 28, 29 months when the new one comes...
That will be fun.

Congrats!
I am beginning to believe there is something in the water around here! So glad I am immune! LOL!
Just did an online calculator... they say July 10th.
So, I guess I'm not as patriotic as you!

my read shelf:
don't laugh...
because I had a C-Section with Bella, I'm trying to decide whether to schedule a second or to VBAC...
Somehow, I don't think they'd schedule a CSection for July 4th, though...

yay! congrats!
Congratulations!
some say it is... some say it isn't.
My OB is of the impression that there's a slightly higher risk of uterine rupture, others say that, because scar tissue is actually stronger than the tissue it replaced, there's an equal or lower risk.
In any case, if I want to VBAC I can't do it at the (little community) hospital where I had Bella, which is a real shame... it only has like 10 beds in the childbirth center, and it was great...
My OB already told me that I'd be a good candidate for VBAC, and is willing to refer me to another doc at another hospital for it... but the doc would be in the "high risk" practice of a hospital on the other side of the city...
don't know what to do...

SO AWESOME! YAY!!!
I love our E08/A06 baby boom!
oh, facebook folk....
please don't mention this there... my parents are on FB and I want to tell them in a more appropriate way...
thanks!

A lot of the moms I know who are BF'ing when they get pregnant, their milk dries up during the course of the pregnancy, so the older child weans on their own. Also, the milk changes (due to pregnancy hormones) so a lot of them stop because they don't like it anymore.
This may be TMI, but here goes: during pregnancy your nipples get more sensitive than you can imagine. This is also quite the issue for BF'ing. I'm already much more sensitive to her BF'ing than I was a couple of weeks ago.
We'll see how it goes. If she wants to keep BF'ing, I'm going to let her. If she wants to stop, she can stop.
Isabella is a very, very determined little girl. I don't think I could stop her if she really wanted to!

Congratulations!
Also, this thread has reminded me that I forgot to take my BC for yesterday AND today! I'm staying away from more than the water!
bwahahaaaaaaa !

Congrats! ?The good news is you're in an area that generally supports VBAC if that's what you want. ??
I'll drink my coffee just in case. ?Of course, it's not like I'll have a chance to get pregnant between now and May or June?
(I'm both b/c while I don't want to be pregnant I at least want to be practicing)
Congrats!!!
