Go to the grocery store on a Saturday morning. That cures me of any inkling of baby fever every time. Or just go hang out at Toys R Us. By the end of the day, you'll just be proud that you didn't kill any small children.

The A06 baby boom continues
I've been wondering how this works. I think I want a baby years down the road, but I'm generally terrified of kids. Does that doom me to being a terrible mother?
MW and Bridey. I totally agree. Everytime I'm around unruly kids my desire for kids shrivels. But I know, my kids would never behave that way.
this is soooooooo true...
On Tuesday, when DD broke my laptop screen (still broken - I have a 4" x 4" white space in the lower right corner as I type this!) I got really mad....
I picked her up, put her in the bathroom, shut the door, and went upstairs, where I called DH from to vent. DD was fine (she likes the bathroom)... I needed my space from her so I didn't fling her into a wall (this is the second time she's killed the screen on my laptop, at $200 a pop!)...
I called DH, I vented, then I went back downstairs and picked her up and gave her a hug and kiss. She didn't know what she did, didn't do it with intention. It's hard to stay mad at somebody in that situation.
I am the 99%.
