Re: Say anything... again!
lmao @ matt's response!!
Seriously. As evidenced by my grocery bill yesterday.
On the coconut water debate...I like it for it's hydration and vitamin properties. There are distinct differences between the green (young) coconuts and the mature coconuts. Most of the commercial varieties are from green coconuts and don't have the laxative properties of the fully mature coconut water.
If you are interested in trying it again, I found the best to be the VitaCoco brand, and it comes in several flavors (don't taste like sweat lol). It's on sale 10/$10 at Kroger right now.
This is what we're doing this weekend.

DH and my bf Joe are running, I'll be taking photos of them and drinking sangria at 8am as long as my spots are gone.
Crazy Christmas Kids!
that looks AWESOME!!! almost awesome enough to drive to NOLA for.....
Hugs
Fun!
DH is working 9 of the next 11 nights. I used the fact that I will virtually be a single parent to justify going to dinner and a movie with some friends last night.
They are all either SAHM's or teachers on summer break. I'm the only one that had to go to work today after coming home at midnight from a late movie.
I need a caffeine IV.
What did you see?
Bad Teacher. Really, really NMS. I'm not a crude comedy kind of person.
Same here. Though because my SB has a full summer schedule, my weekends have magically opened up. We're home 3 weekends in a row!! But August will be hell on wheels.
We are staying at my MIL's house. Her living room furniture consists of a 400 year old couch that literally makes me itch and two camping chairs. It's awesome.
I think my nesting or should I say "let's get the house in order because we've been here for a year now" list is going to kill DH. Because of course many of the projects that I want to accomplish I can not even begin to do on my own. Thankfully my mom loves my projects and helps me during the week.
But this morning I did clean out 3/4 of the garage- which he'd been wanting me to do.
Now onto looking for 2 fun chairs to put in our living room. Which is proving to be a lot more difficult than I initially thought. I can't imagine spending more on 2 chairs than we did 2 months ago on our custom couch. Oh well....
I feel your pain. And mine gets SO offended if I say anything about it.
That's funny! Take a picture.
Negative.
Welcome back! Where did you go?
How incredibly rude and judgmental of you!
I have the same thing over here. Sometimes I just cringe if I see he is going to eat chips or anything crunchy. It sounds like he is crunching through a megaphone!
Harmony, that was incredibly harsh. You should gently rebuke with gentleness.
Dallas (to see grandparents), San Antonio (Westin La Cantera & Sea World) and the big town of Geronimo (more grandparents). I think I need a vacation from our vacation.
I always feel that way too
If you're not ready to share I think I would pull out if you can. I can not imagine trying to hide it for an extended period of time.
Crazy Christmas Kids!
It is Monday. Cooper woke up CRANKY. I kind of thought he was sick or maybe he has teeth coming in that were hurting him, but I couldn't find the thermometer. THANKS DH, for putting things back where they belong!! I gave him ibuprofen anyways and continued hunting for the thermometer because it really ticked me off I couldn't find it. Our house is not that big, how can things just disappear!? (We're also missing the remote to the bedroom TV but that's a different post).
While I was busy hunting for the thermometer, Cooper spilled ---dumped--- a giant (36ozish?) sized glass of water IN MY BED. Then apparently fell (jumped?) off the bed and clocked his chin on the bedside table. More tears and a giant lump and purple bruise on his chin. But no fever, at least I finally found the thermometer, but not the remote.
He also refused to eat his breakfast and cried at drop-off. So, most likely I'm going to pick up a sick kiddo today. And now the battery in my phone is nearly dead and I have no clue why because I'm pretty sure I plugged it in last night.
Can I just go back to bed and start today over?
